AVG and Avast both work fine for us!I'm mad!!!! :rotfl::jand celebrating everyday every year!!!0

We use AVG and Spyware Nuker and the two together do a very good job.
However, when we had AVG only we did get a very nasty virus which was a bit of a pain to get rid of.
But, with this said, AVG for free you really can't complain!!!I consider myself to be very lucky. :j Apart from my mortgate, I am debt free. I do not own a credit card and I even have £400 saved in Premium Bonds. :A :grouphug:0 -

Wondered if you might know of a free Firewall download compatible with Windows 98, Martin's article on free PC stuff mentioned three free Firewall downloads - Comodo, Kerio and Zone Alarm but none of them will work with Windows 98, any idea's?
Thanks

Why do you think Kerio won't work? I had it for years on a Windows 98 computer. I recently gave that computer away (about 6 months ago) and reinstalled AVG, Kerio and 3 anti-spyware programs without any problem, so it's not like I was using an ancient version of Kerio that managed to work with Win980

Looks like Zonelabs stopped supporting 98 in July, I think most companies will be following suit. Considering MS don't even support 98 maybe time to upgrade?"She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

The IT support company at work suggested to me that McAfee was the best AV product! I told them we use NOD-32 which they hadn't even heard of. Made me wonder about them, I have to admit.0 -

Sygate
No longer supported, but I don't know if that's as important with a firewall.
Or you can find old versions of other firewalls which will work with 98 here:
