Afternoon All
Just starting to feel myself again after a rotten cold so I have spent the last hour catching up on all the gossip.:p
To all of those with PCOS ((((((Hugs)))))) There is still hope, a close friend of mine has PCOS and has just had the most adorable baby girl - she went on a low carb diet while she was trying to conceive and she is convinced it helped.
Happy Birthday Mancmillymolly :bdaycake:I hope it has been a good day for you so far.
JackieG (((((Hugs))))
Not much news here just the usual mundane houseworky bits.
Dinner tonight is freezer surprise - I haven't been up to dieting or meal planning this past week.
Will pop back later take care all xBlessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

I have been reading that the low carb helps for those who don't ovulate (or are irregular) which I don't have anymore since I lost 6 stone!
But thank you for the positive thoughts

Hi chums back from my shopping spree.Managed to buy DGS Jack a nice Chelsea FC duvet cover and pillowcase plus lots of Dr Who stuff for his birthday came to around £22.00 which was really good.Plus I also found a stuffed Panda which I will put away for my youngest DGS Mikey as he really wants one on his birthday in June.It will go with some other bits and pieces that I already have for him. treated my DD to luch and we thoroughly enjoyed some Mum and Dd time together. I will be back on the school run next week when she's back at work again. Then when we got to her house she had a thing from the tax man aboout he tax code and I said I'm sure thats too high so she rang them up and she will be getting a rebate within the next 10 days She is walking on air as things were a bit lean in their house since Christmas.
I too am an early bird and am always cheerful first thing .I spent 22 years getting up at 5.00.a.m. and it took me ages to stop waking up at that time when I retired.I still class 7.00.a.m. as a lie-in
Julie G never give up hope, as both of my nieces had that, and one now has three little girls and a boy and the other one has two daughters.Marie had 6 miscarriages, and Dawn had 4.Strangely enough they were both under tha same professor for the same thing at different times.Nurse didn't hadnle it well though0 -
Thank you jackieO, it does help to know x
I just got a phone call from a nurse who is running a trail they want me to go on... and she said 'since your blood testsare clear, are you okay participating in the trial'
I told her, thank you, but since I didn't know my results and was due to find out next week, I will wait until I talk to the Dr about other options before I commit to any kind of trial.
Well at least I know now!We spend money we don't have, on things that we don't need, to impress people we don't like. I don't and I'm happy! Mortgage Free Wannabe :dance:Overpayments Made: £5400 - Interest Saved: £11,550 - Months Saved: 240 -
Afternoon all,
Sad day here today as spoke to DD2 and she is very upset as a 26 year old work colleague delivered a healthy baby girl last Friday, complained of chest pains and had died by the time they got her to theatre, DD is extremely upset. To add to this a small plane with 12 people on board en route from Belfast crashed while trying to land in fog at Cork airport....6 fatalities, so not been a good start to my day even if I knew none of the people involved.
Cold but bright day....had a run-in with OH earlier....chain saw would not start even with my help so he started shouting and I shouted back....wonder what people passing thought of 2 old fogies shouting at each other....got it started eventually so presume we are back on speaking terms...he can't handle small problems but is a tower of strength if its a major disaster....men!
Have a stew cooking for dinner, DD4 and DGS2 come for dinner on Thursdays as he has kick boxing and its not worth their while going home. Seems to smell strongly of garlic, so hope not too garlicky for DGS.
Washing on line, decided to take a chance as not in a hurry and I really get fed up of stuff hanging around house. Also managed to tidy, dust and wash porch floor (tiny porch!) and watered and resited plants....feeling very virtuous...hoovered downstairs as well, will do stairs to-morrow and then upstairs at weekend...that's the plan anyway.
OH has to go back to have his Warfarin levels checked to-morrow, was very high yesterday so they rang to say come back on Friday and straight to A & E if any bleeding in meantime, so am leaving my Lidl visit until then....will probably miss out on any wool I want, but there will surely be something.
Neighbour on other side of road tells me that he was working in his garden this morning and Kerry arrived to 'talk' to him....road is very busy so I gave her a telling off and closed the gate...she chases cars by running up and down part of garden that is on roadside, but this is a new trick which I don't appreciate....so have to make security arrangements stronger before Mossy joins us.
My sympathy to those of you who have repeated miscarriages, my last pregnancy ended in miscarriage almost 26 years ago and I found it a very traumatic experience, even though I had 7 healthy children. There is surely something that can be done nowadays, good luck.
Jackieg....sorry to hear that you are still not great...take it easy.
JackieO...hope that you have had a nice day out with DD.
Brain on malfunction now...hugs to all who need one for any reason.
