JulieG hope you get some helpful results on Tuesday.

Tru- that is awful about your daughter's job. I'm feeling very angry on her behalf!

Hi to everyone. Have just had a wee lurk for a few days. I find if I sit down in the morning to come on here, I can happily sit for ages! Have to switch the PC off and make myself just get up and go and do stuff!
Discovered a site called lastminuteauctions.com which finds all eBay auctions with an hour or less, no bids and a quid or less!!!!! It could be seriously addictive, but great if you are looking for a wee bargain that someone else may have missed.

Have to put car in ads again!!!!! Been stiffed by some buck eejit on eBay who 'bought' the car then changed their username and seem to have disappeared. GGGGRRRRRR!!! Going to put it in local paper and on Gumtree and maybe Loot. Another £30 or so down the drain. Been telling dh he had the price too high, and we have been selling it for 6 months now!! I'm gradually beating him down on the price, and it is now going to be advertised at what we feel we can get for it, NOT what he wants for it!!!

Going to try to make a nice chicken pie for dinner. If anyone has a link for a nice recipe feel free to post it here :-)

Hugs to all who need or want one!

PS - I hate mornings would gladly stay in bed until noon :o:D

jackieo, have a nice day with your DD
poppydog, that's not naughty, it's necessary energy giving deliciousness :D
tru, that sounds awful, so glad you're feeling better and revelling in house work!

Morning all, looks horrible outside, very uninspiring. Just having a coffee before I jump in the shower, get a few bits done then off to uni 1-6. I dislike starting at 1 as I don't feel I've got enough time to do anything real in the morning, other than have a lie in, do some washing and a quick tidy. I guess it can be my flylady/cleaning time!
Dinner tonight will be more hm fish chowder, so tasty i've had it for four meals this week and i'm still not bored! Then an hour or two of uni work, wash my hair, and bed!
Tomorrow I get all my results from last semester, everyone is nervous or doesn't want to know but I'm gagging to find out

  • Morning everyone.
A day off today (and paid!) as mindee is poorly poor thing :(
It's half ten and I am already fed up to the back teeth of DD. Took her up retail park to get her feet measured and yet again she's played it up over walking  We had a nice little mooch about and then suddently like Jekyl and Hyde she turns. Well she's going into a pushchair for everything now on as I can't cope.

Anyway listening to this to cheer me up. BB I love that Eliza Doolittle song :)

I really enjoyed the music on yesterday's thread so thanks to everyone that shared and I am sorry if my music wasn't to everyone's taste :o
OS today? Well washing and housework but not sure that really counts :o:o Not sure what's for tea tonight, need to have a look in the freezer.

Ho hum I suppose I'd better get on with it.

    Mancmillymolly - Happy Birthday
Loulou - Hope you are feeling better today x

Tru - OUCHIE! It's the same with my back, I feel better, go overboard doing things and end up back where I started :o Digusted at how Miss Tru has been treated

JulieG - Glad your scan went OK, I don't know much about PCOS so I hope they can do something to improve your situation xx

I actually prefer the mornings, I feel at my most sprightly at that time of day (just wish I had a better alarm clock that DS lying in bed screaming for me ). By the afternoon I am normally flagging :o

Hugs, spoons and high fives all round. Have a good day OS or not.
