Saw him at Paisley folk club in my spotty youth, he was great, but then the comedy took over, and became brilliant! Bought DS a cd of his oldies at crimbo with the jobbie wheecher on it....class!
Eddie Reader has a great haunting voice too.
Must also sleep, got a busy day tomorrow, but will be cooking along to some nostalgic music....avoiding deacon blue as I played their album whilst in labour with DD and it brings back painful memories!!!RIP Iain

Oh yes! Got her Burns CD too - another amazing voice.
Was a regular at Celtic Connections for many years and so love the music of many of our Scots artists.
