evening all i agree candy thats just being ungrateful
i know i for one am grateful for my gifts bought for my boys as it makes up for that fact that i buy them so few (which i only do because everyone buys them so much and i don't want them spoilt), the only issue is if you say ok we won't buy anymore she'll more than likely say you don't care and your heartless bla bla bla, if you give boo them anyway she'll say your going against her as a parent (this is my pet hate tbh but then again i would like to think i'm not that unreasonable), hmm ignore it and just keep going as you normally do and pretend you didn't get her second text until she brings it up
had a very busy day here
i'm about ready for bed lol, just had a coffee and some yummy carrot cake (it smells horrible but tastes yummy) so that shud pick me up

I'm off out tonight for a meal and the cinema with my old schoolfriend who lives by me, her flatmate and their cute male friend (the one I met the other night)
. I think I'm giving up on metal guy as we can seem to schedule getting together
, so I'm keeping my options open :rotfl:. It's unplanned night out but I like those.
Very little OS here - rubbish went out this morning that's all.
Have a good evening all

evening all!
not caught up with you all yet - had a stressful day!
DS1s car failed the MOT - mainly on things he promised us he'd already sorted:mad: its going in the garage tomorrow - wont be ready till Monday so I've insured him to drive DHs van for a week at vast expense so he can get to work but at least its all sorted now.
Tea is cooking - pizza for DH and quorn sweet and sour for me. DS2 is at work.
Lots of driving for me today taxiing the boys all over the place - be glad to have a rest later. Still got to collect them yet though!
Washing hung indoors, house tidyish. Kitchen floor very muddy thanks to a muddy Louie - not worth mopping till last thing tonight.
shall go and have a read shortly.Do what you love :happyhear0 -
Evening all:j:j
Another long day for me, and im worn out again. I can not wait to get into bed tonight.
Very damp here today and it has drisaled from time to time.
The twins are at the MILs. My wife on a thursday only works on the morning. So thsi afternoon she has poped out to treat herself.
She is going to one of them places were you put your feet into a fish tank and you let the fish nibble your feet.
Now i dont mind what my wife spends money on but we do have our own fish tank and fish so it dose seem a bit silly paying to put your feet in someone elses tank????? I will never understand women:eek:
I dont have a clue what we are having for dinner. My wife sorts that out on a thursday so i will not know untill she comes back. Trouble is i dont even know what time she is due back!
The twins will be back at aout 7:30pm tonight so i do know somthing.:j:j
Well iv not read the thred yet but i hope that you all have had a good day.
Well thats enough rambleing from me!
Im off to read the thred:j:j:jYou can have everything you wont in lfe, If you only help enough other people to get what they wont.:j0 -

Evening everyone
Boy did the songs from yesterday make me feel my age:eek::eek: There were only a couple I know (Stones and George Harrison)
Think I may need to change my name to OldDG;)
candygirl I am sorry mate, but DD is going to continue to abuse you in whatever form she feels like until you stand up to her and keep your word. I would simply agree with her suggestion, stating you cannot afford it anyway. It is not hormones, she is just plain nasty, and thinks she can walk all over you, and you are letting her. Sorry if this sounds harsh but to be honest until you do this it will never stop. If she stops sending Boo, say OK, I am here if you want her to come, and you have a home here, if you need it, but you will abide by my rules, and I am not going to be insulted and abused by you any more. I would also change my mobile no. and block her on Facebook.
JulieGeorgianaI think the suggestion of the LC diet to help the problem, was not connected with losing weight, but the fact that LC is also a way to control excess insulin production.
flutterbye - Glad you aced your observed teaching.
Well hormonal monthly problems being discussed made me smile, a hysterectomy was my salvation, what tickles me that if it affected men a cure would have been found, male Drs do not really believe it, and all the theories say, that if you "eat healthily" and "take plenty of exercise" you have not problems :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I ended up having to stay on the pill after being sterilised to maintain a balance, I remember one incident when I tore into someone, then went to the loo and realised the reasons, and yes I went straight back and apologised and explained. Didn't realise until after I had had the op how carp I had been. 21 day cycle, a week hormonal, a week heavy, and a week feeling weak recovering:eek::eek::eek::eek:
taplady typical of DS, I always end up "reminding him" constantly. Luckily my nephew is mechanic and MOT tester, and he maintains the car:D
Yesterday I found an Art Class run for free in a local bar, where like minded folk get together and to their own thing. So I went along, and got inter it again. Last night went to a Chinese Wok, then on to a bar for live music. Today was get up late, and decided to start painting again, so that has been me to today.
Just had LO mash and chicken for dinner, and then out to a different bar tonight:o

Hi all,
Not posted in a few days, not been feeling it really
We have run out of money as even though i invoiced OH's employer 2 weeks ago he still hasn't paid. So noooo money for bills or travel or food. Have enough till last till sunday, then it's beans on HM toast for us! oh and eggs cause they're free. I'm going to invoice weekly from now on as can't handle this anymore.
Puppy sitting a friends dog this weekend, so will be very busy around here. Going to give the kitchen a once over today, then ask OH to hover tomorrow.
WM needs emptied and filled again.
Dinner is HM kebabs with wraps, salad and rice
Sorry your having so much money worrys latley:(
I think that you are right to invoice weekley from now on.
Have you chased the payment that is due?? Might be worth it.
Could your OH be payed some money out of Petty cash to tide you over untill the invoice is paid in full?
I think that you and your OH really need to sit down and work out a buget that includes putting some maony aside for when this sort of things happen.
i know its hard at the moment but it will get bettre!!!!!
Iv been there is the past so i know that its not a nice place to be!
all the best bramble:):A:):jYou can have everything you wont in lfe, If you only help enough other people to get what they wont.:j0 -
the great thing about being married to a turkish woman is that no matter how hormonal i never have to think about 'whats for dinner?' she thanks me for being patient and not insisting she comes home earlier and being over fussy about what she cooks--Turkish men are real hard to please when it comes to food and they expect their wives to work full time--my wife works full time and gets home late because she enjoys the school we have as a partnership--she's the boss and i get served well!mfw'11 No68- 55k mortgage İO--little to nothing saved! i must do better.0

I dont drink - maybe I should start!:D
he's not the best in the world at repaying what he's borrowed but he knows he'll have to if he wants his car back on the road!
Candygirl - (((hugs))) I agree with Bitsy - she's being very ungrateful and selfish. She should think herself extremely lucky to have a Mum like you. I know its hard to admit that our children aren't nice but we can still love them even if we dont particularly like them sometimes.
MeanMarie - (((hugs))) to you and your DD - what a terrible shock for that poor girl's family x
JackieG - (((hugs))) sorry you're still not too well x x xDo what you love :happyhear0
