I needs some advice please.
After all the advice that has been given, I'm going to get my partner out
of the house but i need some help please.
My house is in joint names but it's 50% ownership. It is
50% rent 50% mortaged.
I work only 5 hours aweek.
I look after my grandaughter around 18 hours aweek.
I do not wish to give this up as it is my daughters only independence
by her going to work.
My daughter gives me £40 aweek for house keeping.
I think i receive to much money to claim income support or job seekers.
my question is will i get help with the rent, mortgage, and council tax?
and can i claim tax credits.
I have gathered all personal details and put them in a safe place including
my partners. What infomation do i need to claim child support.
My other question is when me and my partner split up before i needed to provide
an address to the Council Tax Office of the whereabouts my partner was living
enable to claim single persons Council Tax. Would i still need an addresss
for him to claim this benefit.
I am in the process of looking for a job with more hours so i am hoping
this situation is only for the short term.
I hope this all make sense and clear to others.
Thank you

You won't be able to get a single person CT discount, because your daughter, who is over 18 lives with you.
Has your partner said he will leave?0 -

i'm trying to sort things out before the bombshell so when it kicks off i'm ready.0 -
Which is you should contact womens aid. If you have a BT landline, a call to them won't even show on an itemised bill. They have heard it all before, so can advise on an order to remove him.creamcrackers wrote: »thanks

From what you've said in previous posts, I strongly advise you don't do it without help.0 -
creamcracker.
I am very concerned about the way your daughter is managing her finances. She will be getting CB, her wages and her WTC. If her daughter is in child care, she can reclaim that. She needs to be amking a full contribution to the household expenses, including CT, the rent disregard, and utilities.
You should get CB (is this in your name at the moment?), and need to check what support you can get for rental and mortgage support (usually after 13 weeks for the latter, interest only), income support or WTC and possibly CTC. You probably need a good benefits advisor.
You must contact Women's Aid, because you have three vulnerable people (plus yourself) and need help with restrictions and an occupation order. They know how to organise this, and you cannot afford to do it without your help. Added to which using them give more validity to your case.If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
