Well it would seem to make sense, many clamping companies intentionally block people in in order to clamp them If they just banned clamping then these rogues would get away with just blocking them in so you clearly have to specify this in the legislation.

All I can is what the MP featherstone I think said , blocking vehicles in is part of the new legislation to come in, why don't you ask her, she will know more than myself!

Because you are the one who has said the he knows. I thought that you would be able to tell what part of the new law will prevent me from parking cars in my own car park. You have read the new law, haven't you? :huh:

You'd think, wouldn't you. But seeing as the law hasn't actually been written yet, I can't see how anyone knows what's in it, but there are posters on here who think they have. Perhaps they have very good clairvoyance. But if they did, perhaps they wouldn't keep getting clamped.

You are being ridiculous , the legislation has not been made law as yet, so how can point out anything that as yet does not exist, the intention is there from the government to make this into law, they have indicated numerous times, so instead of wasting your time here asking people for proof, try researching and finding a solution yourself, now I have wasted enough of my time on you as you clearly are not taking it in, let me summarise for you:

1) clamping is being banned
2) towing is being banned
3) blocking people in is being banned

Now no matter how much you bleat, this will happen, now I suggest you try and find a solution, it is out there , if you remain static on this you will lose out, and a competitor who does actually think will use this to their advantage !

So, in other words (I haven't a clue why you bothered with the rest of your post), you really have no idea what you are talking about. There are no existing laws preventing me from parking vehicles around another (those who have tried to tell me otherwise, take note). There are currently no plans to prevent me from doing this either, except the ones in your head of course. Surely you have looked at the white paper, the draft bill or perhaps the debating document for the House of Commons select committee.

And I suppose you have, now please enlighten us with your research, because you must have! Now I have actually researched into this matter myself and have communicated directly with the home office, my local mp, I have replies from them in regards to this that I have actually posted on here.

They are pressing ahead with an outright ban on clamping, towing and blocking vehicles on private land, if you want to buryyour head in the sand you carry on! And by the way, where is your proof that this will not happen, seems reasonable considering you keep asking me for proof.

You have researched it so thoroughly, you don't even seem to know what the draft bill contains, where it can be found and what sections will cover my plans. Hmmm....I don't think you have dome any study at all.

However, it took nine hours and eighty pounds to clear the "blockade" in Haedon's link. I don't think it will be as clear cut as you think.
