    Hi I can't remember.

did Easymobile take credit card details?

I have a minus credit on my phone now and I can still make phone calls.

Do I assume that I won't pay for these?

Incidentally, the only airtime I had was what they gave initially. I have never topped up.
You'll receive both sms and email reminder messages about the balance, and it will be blocked in 3 days or so if you don't top up, and a £5 fee applied. Then they are entitled to pursue you for payment, and I wouldn't be surprised if they attempted to charge the card details you gave.

There is plenty of info on their website

Thats what I wasn't sure of.

Did you have to give card details in order to get an Easy mobile sim in the first place?

Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea.
  • anyone having problems signing up to the Fresh offer ? The sign up button doesn't seem to do anything - maybe it is a Firefox problem

Do you have scripts disabled on the Fresh site?
It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!

Most people did, but it probably depends on the offer you had

But it doesn't matter; you can use any credit or debit card
  • I have a similar situation, 3 kids with easy mobile handsets. I told them to use up their credit as the phones would stop working and now 3 days later they are still fully operational??? can anyone tell me why?? Also 2 of the phones dont even show as registered to easymobile when I tried to contact them about new sim cards, so this makes it even stranger??

I have received an email about my daughters phone telling me its got a negative balance of -10p, so what will happen??

I wish I had never bothered with easy mobile now as they have my credit card details and seem to be completely imaginary "leaving the UK market"

ALSO if they have left the UK market, does that mean ALL calls and texts are now international, instead of ceasing to be!

    I am angry & confused!!!

    help please

I think it is time Stelios stepped in - alledgedly he wasn't happy about the relationship doing damage to the easy brand & as such more or less gave TDC notice to stop using the name - COME ON STELIOS, STEP IN HERE & SORT THESE PROBLEMS!
Certain OTT members have caused me to add this disclaimer: all advice given is free of charge & as such should be taken to be IIRC (as I don't spend hours researching all answers  )!

It is nothing whatsoever to do with the man now, as the agreement between the companies ended following TDC's strategic decison to withdraw from the UK market. And almost all he did was receive the licence fees

The link no longer works to an easy website page where he slagged off his erstwhile partner company. There are links to some more balanced comments by independent observers further up the thread.

Many of the questions above are answered on the website, like how to top up credit or port the number.

It appears from posts by a couple of people though that a software glitch somewhere has deducted back the promotional credit for some people that ported out, but ie Bextech says they have said it will be sorted out.

After first of all saying that it will cease on 13th December, the latest email does seem to say that some service will continue until 30th December, but they still recommend people transfer as soon as possible.

You can top up your daughter's phone either online by logging in to the account, or by ringing them up - landline 01438846030. If you can't log in two of the accounts, I think the phone would be best anyway.

It won't be international calls at the moment; still UK based until it closes down
  • Managed to order my Fresh sims only by using Internet Explorer - button doesn't work in Firefox

A few weeks ago I requested and received a PAC from easymobile so that I could use it on a new Virgin PAG but the Virgin deal means I need to keep the virgin phone and number to receive free credit.

Can I still use it on the Fresh sim I have ordered even thought they say I have to have a new number ?

(Also I assume if I use my free Fresh credit, I can just close the accounts without problem)
