Oh NOOOoooo..... Ive got £160 promotional credit (was hoping this sim would last a few years).

IIRC, the promo credit would have expired at the end of this year anyway, even if easymobile were still around in a few years.

So how can the promo credit be turned into cash - eg one way is by calling a 3-pay number, but you don't get much back!
  • Could setup a premium number and call it? lol
  • I was thinking of using the credit for competitions on gmtv or simlar, since ther eis no way I will be able to use the sims we've got. Mine seems to be blocked for 09 numbers. Can I unblock this and use te credit up does anyone know.

or will they actually refund the promo credit to us?

No, they will only refund unused credit from paid topups - info is in the FAQs on easymobile.com

Unfortunately, we will not be able to refund any free airtime that was given to
you as part of any introductory or promotional offer or bonus scheme.

now if you also paid for credit... I don't know which they would have used up first

  • I think the fresh link is pretty good.
Have to admit haven't looked into it properly. However you can put the sim straight into the easymobile phone, and the texts are still only 5p! and if its no good then change (again).

Willing to give it a go anyways.

RIP easymobile. All good things come to an end.

That's the problem - they gave away so much promotional credit that not many new of the customers would be increasing their revenues

Use the credit up on 07744 callthrough to international numbers, even diverting incoming calls to it and call it from your O2, Vodafone or 3 contract

In fact, I reckon maybe I can use some credit up on roaming calls in the next couple of weeks. Even if I top up, maybe they should refund the £10 later - I'd better check about whether they use top-p or promo credit first, or maybe if I ask nicely they'll set up roaming without the initial £10

About Fresh - it looks generous, but the while stocks remark looks a bit odd - will we all beat each other in the rush?

......... edit - I spoke to them, and the offer will last

I've not had the letter yet but see that they won't refund any promo minutes. However they will give you a free 'Fresh' SIM with £10 calls.
I'll be going for that when I've used my promo minutes from the two 'phones I got for £20 each with £20 calls and £14 quidco each...!!

Link for the above info -> https://www.easymobile.com/selfcare/templates/personal/owner/Fresh/CPW.html.

I think, you can only order the fresh sim from the above link, if you are logged on to easymobile site.
  • Has anyone got a view on the Fresh mobile alternative offered by easymobile.
