can I claim back the £10 a day interest that I've been charged for being over my overdraft?
Please check post 4 in the Reclaim Help Thread link in my signature for what you can claim.0 -
Can anyone tell me how long on average it tok to get statements/charge details back from Lloyds? Was it the full 40 days? Unfortunately I could only trace back to July 2002 on internet banking.0

Hi HariboJunkie,
Lloyds only have online statements as far back as July 2002 for all customers. I had a mailshot only this week and it states that you can go all the way back to July 2002....WOW:rolleyes:
As for how long it takes. having sat and read all 40+ pages on this thread I would say on average that people are having to wait the full 40 days (or near as damn it)......which is why I decided to forget it and just go back as far as I could on-line to speed things up.
If I'd waited 40 days I may have lost my impetus
I guess it's a personal thing. If you feel you have a lot of charges prior to July 2002 then go for it.
Cheers,

Thanks for that DebtMagnet. I did deliberate long and hard and my gut instinct was just to go back as far as I could online but OH is determined that 2001 was a bad year so thought it would be worth waiting 40 days. Here's hoping.0

No Worries,
My OH seems confidant that we were good boys and girls in 2001, but went off the rails a bit towards the end of 2002.....so the online banking was just right!
Good luck anyway

I think my 2001 was a bad year and possibly my worst every year for charges either that or year 2000 but sure it was 2001. So I will request my 6 years worth.0

Hi can anyone help? we have got as far as sending a letter to Andover giving them 7 days, that was over 2 weeks ago and have not heard anything. I'm not sure if they have received the letter (stupidly didn't send it recorded) anyway been trying to get hold of the illusive Debbie Gilbert but the phone is constantly engaged! what should we do now?0
-
If it was your letter before action you now need to start the court proceedings.0

Edinburghlass wrote:Who are you talking to though. If the FO is doing the claim for someone they may well give the banks 40 days to reply.
I had a letter from Sainsbury's Bank informing me that I will receive a response
within four weeks, in line with the Financial Service Authority regulations.0
