Hi All,
Lloyds decided to defend and now I have received a letter from Northampton saying that all communication should now go to my local county court (Romford).
There is no allocation questionnaire; is this normal? In fact 'and note that the allocation questionnaire should be returned to Romford County Court' is crossed out in pen from the letter I received.
Is this normal? I'll get the questionnaire from Romford?
Sorry for basic questions, I know there are threads out there with my answers but there are SO many to track...
Now it's sit back and wait for things to happen time!0 -
Seems like your AQ has been dispensed with. This is increasingly happening and good news for you so don't worry.Reclaimed thanks to this site:

It's up to you which option you choose. The Financial Ombudsman service is for free but will most likely take longer, and you might not get the interest on the claim as only a court can award it.A court claim costs money and means more work for the claimant, but you are entitled to reclaim court costs and interest. I have handled both cases for my OH via court and got all costs + interest back - both Capital One and Lloyds TSB caved in basically at the same time as hitting the Defence button.Reclaimed thanks to this site:

I have a court date set on 27th June 2007. My claim is for £105. I have heard nothing and am now panicing. There is no money in my account and I was unable to submit my defence paperwork as I received the letter after the 21day cut off limit. What should I do - can I cancel the claim as I don't want to be the third case to lose.
Don't do that!
If you PM me I'll send you a copy of the letter I sent to SCAM I don't know if it did anything but my court date was 29th and they have settled.0 -

A total of £1158.74
Once I get the money from LTSB, its turn for Barclaycard
How far did you get in the process? Did you have a court date? How long before court was it if you did have a court date?0 -
Question for EVERYONE who succeeded!
When you where offered a settlement, how far into the process did you get? Was it after the first letter or a few days before court? How many have had a court date and Lloyd's have settled before court? How many have actually gone to court?0 -
The court sent me a form that I had to filll out and return to the bank, not sure what it is called exactly. And a few days after that I got a letter from LTSB's bank telling me that they intend to defend it in the court. The day after I got another letter telling me that they want to settle it out of court since whatever the outcome of who wins or who loses the bank will incur more cost going to the court then paying me!!! Lol
