I take tramadol, i have done for seven years now. This comming November will be year eight.
Im fine with takeing them have always have been.#
My wife and my mom can not take them. They make my mom very sick and the feeling taht she id flying.
Thay make my wife unable to walk or talk.

Some people are ok with themsome are not.
Give then a good try but if say after a week on them you find that you can not cope then go backk to your docs to get something esle.

If they really do make you feel very ill then id go back in a couple of days.

Good luck with them, If they do suit you then they can be very helpfull.
:jYou can have everything you wont in lfe, If you only help enough other people to get what they wont.:j

    Hi

They can only ask for a photo copy of your passport.
We have been asked for ours at work. All but 2 people in the place have taken these in. I and all the other have said that we are not going to do it.
Many Uk people do not ahve a passport of a drivers lisance. I.E. my wife and a few people at work dont have then aswell.

If they dont have good grounds to suspect taht you ahould not be working than thay can have a real battle to get the info from you. I.E. the courts.

I do however think it is only a matter of a few years before you will have to give a company some sort of photo I.D. to get a job or carry on working there. Its the way things are going im afraid.:(:(

    Hi,

They can't have even a copy of my old passport as I don't have it any longer. I don't have a new one yet as Danish ones cost £100 +, plus I have to go to the Danish Consulate and have an interview for a few hours, and I haven't had the money to travel there or to pay for the passport.

I'm taking my marriage certificate in tomorrow, along with my parents' proof of indefinite leave to remain and the print out of the govt's website. I can't do more, as they already have a copy of my drivig licence and Danish birth certificate, but apparently that's not good enough.

We'll see what tomorrow brings. If it remains a problem either they'll have to accept I can work or they won't in which case I'll start kicking up a fuss.

I've calmed down since my first post, but it is annoying me. I'm also shattered from 3 hours commute and days of constant information giving.

I do feel for you, and I'm not blaming all of the staff, it's just this bl**dy woman who's driving me mad. She even said that she'd call the Home Office today to verify what I'd said. I imagine she hasn't as I never heard back from her.

Also, as I have had insurance here, have a driving licence etc. I'm not really a case for Interpol am I?

Like I say, I'm shattered and so I get even more grumpy :p (I'm off to bed in ot very long...). I've gone from doing nothing for 2 months to having to drive for 3 hours and concentrate for 8 and it feels like it's never-ending at present :o. I've got the rest of this week and all of the next and then I should go onto the ward, where I'll be working 3 or 4 days, then having 3 or 4 days off. The commute is also better at the crack of dawn...

Oh, and I miss my husband.

    Evening all,

Bright and sunny here earlier, but raining and windy now....so long since I've been able to put washing out not sure I will again.

Loulou...hope that ds is improving from now on, take care of you too.

Fairylight....sorry to hear that DD has fallen for the 'plamas', you did the right thing when she was there, nothing else you can do.

jackie...thanks for text, be thinking of you.

Halight....definitely send that cat to Coventry, pending a very sincere apology.

Mind gone blank now....v8monkey...I think that you are doing the necessary, let them prove otherwise....I know that employers need to know that they are not employing illegals, but this is taking it too far.

Taplady...Taplord should go to doctor, but you know that so why am I bothering you.

Did very little to-day, bit of a cloudy one mentally so hopefully to-morrow will be better.

Welcome to newbies, congratulations to those celebrating (someone was off to a graduation), hugs to all in need or want.
