he has gone to sleep :D:j left him to it and he climbed into his pushchair and nodded off!

just bunged a few random bitsthat needed using up into the slow cooker. got the bedding on the line as well. alans nan has offered to help with the washing, i have warned her that some of it is yukky but she says she doesnt mind so someone will collect it in a bit. i'm just glad of the extra help. ds is in pj's today as his nappies are leaking everywhere and i cant wash and dry his clothes quick enough.

was debating whether to take him for a walk this afternoon or see if he feels up to the park across the road. (obv will put some clothes on him first!) dont know if i have the energy though :o

nic1lou2, hope you're feeling better and getting back to work helps. with the soup, chop all the veg up, brush with oil, roast, then blitz and add cream and season, basically :)
jaxx, hope the sea air does you good
essexgirl, pfft how can they have decided during their unemployment since applying that this job is now not good enough?! grr, find someone who'll be grateful :)

Afternoon all, it's my late tuesday today. I get up late, eat breakfast after 12, go to uni at 4 and will be in the library until it's time to go home and watch Gyspy Weddings! I'm feeling so much better and ready to catch up with missed bits and bobs I didn't do last week.
I'm also feeling inspired by the lazy flatmates attempts at getting fit via 5 minute runs to start running again now it's warming up, it's ridiculous, they're 21 year olds with high blood pressure/cholesterol!!

    Hi all,

Im not a regular poster, but noticed on another thread Loulou's DS was still poorly so popped in to say Hi and send a hug. But if I can ask since im here...
Tea is SC spare ribs with rice. Need to online shop/shopping list, might actually venture out to shops this week instead :p

How do you do Ribs in the SC? Im not very adventurous yet with mine (Roasts, curry, chilli, bottom-of-the-fridge soup and the likes) but my little one loves ribs so would really appreciate the advice. Thank you x

    Morning all
Hugs to all those feeling under the weather and those with worries
Spent yesterday at Hertfordshire Uni with DD1 she is still not sure if she wants to go i think that she is frightened and worries that she wont cope with the workload as she has dislexia....

Please tell her that she will be able to get extra money, practical assistance & support and extra time at Uni - DS2 was diagnosed at 19 when he went to uni, and he graduated last year, is now doing a Masters and is today at Cambridge for his PGCE interview! He was given a laptop, gets a small allowance, photocopy & paper refunded, book purchase refunds and extra time for exams and assignments.

We had that problem until last winter when the line was left in the hole. Now I can't get the ruddy thing out

judging by the way he is hanging off my washing and swinging it around, i'll say he's a stuntman in training and feeling better :rotfl:
