Hello all
Well I gave in & went to the doctors yesterday. Have got antibiotics for a chest infection. They are going right through me though. (TMI)
I am feeling a bit better today so now I need to crack on with the Forth Bridge....
Towels are nearly finished & I'm going to venture into the spidery shed & get the line out & hang them out.
I need to catch up with the living room & kitchen from the flylady thread, but I must have a quick go at the kids rooms. I have given up nagging them. I'll have to go in.
Nic, you will not be covered under your works insurance to work till your certificate has run out. Take care (((hugs)))
(((hugs))), love & spoons to all who need.

Good morning to all,
haven't been on here for a few days due to having off days. Very sorry to hear of diva's passing although I didn't know her. It is so wonderful to see how much everyone cares and the support people provide on here, my best wishes also go to her family and friends.
Haven't done much os recently, feeling very down and no enthusiasm at the mo. My get up and go has gone! Back in work today, toast for lunch and may make home made toad in the hole for tea.
Lou, sorry to hear about your little boy, it must be so worrying for you, especially when we have to depend on Drs advice as they 'know best'.
Nic, glad to hear you are a bit better in yourself, keep your chin up.
Fairy, its sad when you can see what may be down the line for children through experience but unfortunately, they have to make their own decisions and mistakes. She will make the right one eventually hopefully. All you can do is be there for her when she needs you.
Have a good day to all.

Good Morning Everyone.
Have spent a couple of hours down at church meeting various workmen who will be involved over the coming weeks - scaffolders currently clattering around - spoke with an elderly gentleman who told me he often pops in for a few minutes P&Q - just at the moment when the chappie dropped a scaffolding pole on the stone floor! Guess there won't be too much peaceful atmosphere there this week!
Nic - ((HUGS)) to you ( and to others finding life hard just now) - as others have said, you won't be insured to work if you've been signed off - but you could visit perhaps to see how things are going and to ease you back in for next week??
Essex-girl - that makes me mad! DS would love a job, any job, and to get off benefits - sadly, (but understandably) no-one is anxious to employ anyone whose health record is not too good. Catch 22, I think.
Have managed to tidy up my bombshell of a kitchen this morning, and need to do a little work on the carpet on the staoirs and in our room - you wouldn't believe how much hair two collies can shed in a very short time, you'd think they'd be bald by now!
Am tutoring later on today followed by choir practice, so nonstop from about 2.30 - 9.30pm.
JackieO - so sorry I missed you birthday yesterday, but I gather you had a good day. I'm glad your family show you how much they appreciate all you do for them.
OK, must find a hard brush for the stairs! Hope you all have a good day. Take care.Resolution:

Tried to read, but ran out of time.
Tramadol. For me it is fine, I do not feel sleepy or any more doolally than normal, but it takes my pains away, but many say it affects them the same as you. DGMember #8 of the SKI-ers Club
Why is it I have less time now I am retired then when I worked?0 -
Thanks for all the comments - restores the faith - can't understand it either myself. The second person I spoke to sounded like if I increased the wages he may do me a favour & take the job. If I knew we were paying rubbish wages then I would understand it more.
Sun is still shining here - amazing
