  • Thanks so much for all the words of support and advice about DD, they really do mean so much to me xxxx

I don't want to keep going on about DD, but a quick update...She came home this morning looking so happy but I'm afraid it won't last long:( the BF has promised to change, see us more etc but they are just empty words unless he actually does these things. She has now gone back to his, but not before I gave her a hug and told her I loved her.

Have no energy today, I can see jobs that need doing so must try and do some of them at least!!

Loulou really hope DS feels better soon and make sure you get some rest too xx

I thought yesterday's thread looked beautiful with all the purple posts and songs for MSD :A I hope it was of some comfort to her family and friends to know how much she was loved and respected.

Hugs to all especially the poorlies and those having a tough time xxx

    Afternoon all
I'm ok BB, hubby went for a later train & so changed my morning routine.
Just arrived home, hubby stuck at work dealing with a water leak that has blown all the electrics! I've hung some washing on the line, loaded the DW, got sausages in the oven & potatoes on the boil, I'll do sausage & mash with onion gravy when he does get in.
Lots of discussion about schools becoming academies, no doubt it will be chaotic whatever is decided.
    Have a good evening everyone.
    Hugs Hester

    afternoon all!

been at work then came home and did a bit of cleaning, just about to cook tea. Fish in sauce for DH and aubergine bake for me. DS2 at work so will have a snack later.
WM nearly finished and will hang it out.

Me and little Louie pup almost fell out this morning as he went into the washing machine and pulled out my new Next top(only worn once) and decided it would go nicely in the dog bed:eek: luckily he never got around to chewing it:D so I must remember to shut the machine door next time properly and not just pull it to.

Hope everyone's well, will go and catch up now x x x

    QUOTE]

I thought it was my weekend off when I woke up this morning so was very disappointed to find out it was reallt Tuesday and I was due in work at 7am!

Jaxx I have being prescribed tramadol in the past and to be frank it makes me doolally! and is hopeless for pain, but the warm fuzzy feeling makes you forget about it ;)

lots of people struggle to take Tramadol - Taplord takes it daily - slow release Tramadol plus top up Tramadol for his back and he's fine with it but I know people who cant take it.

JulieG - sorry about the car - hope it's not the expensive thing wrong with it!

Fairylittle - sorry your DD's gone back to the so and so! x x

redruby - get well soon to all the poorly ones in your house x

halight - hope its not another cold - x x x by the way - how did you get your name? always wondered :)

must get in the kitchen - take care all x x x

Well done Jodie. I was in my mid thirties before I discovered the joys of cooking and particularly baking and now I love it. I am sure you will get better and better:beer:
