Hi everyone.
I wasn't really expecting to lose any weight at all this week as it was "that time of the month". Last month at the same time I gained a 1llb but this time I actually lost 100g. LoL! Every little helps and it's a step in the right direction. I'm sure it's because a) I'm generally making healthier choices and b) I'm doing 30 min sessions on the exercise bike.
Have decided I should just focus on reaching my 5% goal as that seems a lot more achievable and a lot less daunting than dwelling too much on the total I want to lose. Since i started I've lost 5lb ( i know my sig says 3 but I lost 2lb before I started posting) so just have another 5 to go which I would like to do in the next two weeks as i have an appointment with my endocrine nurse in two weeks time and it would be really good to be able to go and see her and be able to say I've reached my 5% goal.
Welcome inkie, I've found propoints very livable, far more so than the old points system.
Good luck everyone for next week's weigh in.52 Week Challenge £10/£1378

Hello all!
Not really got anything to say weight loss wise BUT my brother & his partner are getting married next May. I was shopping last night for jeans (as mine are too loose) and saw a dress I really liked. So I bought it in a size 12 (bear in mind my wedding dress for my wedding in May just gone was a US12/UK16). Got it home, thought "I'll try it on to see how much I have to lose to get into it". It already fits. Oops. Size 10 ordered, as I WILL lose 2 stone by May.
Oh and I've been wearing size 12 jeans today!!!Don't worry about typing out my username - Call me COMP(Unless you know my real name - in which case, feel free to use that just to confuse people!)0 -
Well done COMP
(It didn't look like you were in a 16 in your wedding pics by the way)
I've been playing with the new plan today as on the online thing it's already active. I chose to do a "Filling and Healthy Day" which means I can eat as much of the F&H foods as I want, and if it's not something F&H then it comes off my weeklies. I couldn't do it every day, but it's nice after the big lunch (and wine!!) I had yesterday. I might try it once a week...0 -

It's definitely easier for me when I'm in hotels to do the filling and healthy, rather than trying to guess the points of everything on the menu.
I didn't get to a meeting this weekend, so wonder how leaders deal with the fact that this isn't available at meetings yet. Or at least that's what we were told.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

ThanksWedding dresses come up small - the evening dress I wore was from monsoon and I wore a size 12 which *just about* fit - it's my bust that caused the problem in my wedding dress. My measurements are all over the place and always have been. My hip measurement is in the 40s and my waist is 28"
I'm not too bothered by the changes to be honest. Haven't decided whether to reduce my daily allowance now or when I'm closer to goal... I'll probably look into the healthy & filling a little more though as I have a tendency to forget to track :rotfl:Don't worry about typing out my username - Call me COMP(Unless you know my real name - in which case, feel free to use that just to confuse people!)0 -
Well after two weeks off the wagon, and the wagon appearing as a teeny tiny dot on the horizon, I have plucked up the courage to weigh in this morning.
I have "only" put 3lbs back on, which in one way isn't so bad, I guess, given the amount of absolute trash I have eaten, but the downside is that I'm back up a stone number, which has REALLY hacked me off.
Ho hum - I am now back in the zone and full of determination once more. And oh wow oh wow oh wow - do we have some amazing new inspirational thread members come on board. I am in awe of some of the numbers there!
I am fed up with my WW pedometer. I reset it this morning, and set off to walk the 45 minutes to work. Mid morning, I had accumulated 2 activity points, but by late afternoon, it said just 1. I have no idea what happened there.
Oh, something I did learn today which may be of use/interest to other WW people. WW Gnocchi with Roasted Squash and Cheese Sauce does NOT freeze well, and when defrosted and reheated forms a gloopy mound in the plate which is decidedly unappetising!
So food today:
Curried BNS soup - 0 points
Gnocchi - 7 points
Gooseberry yogurt - 3 points
Fruit salad - 0 points
150g cooked weight wholewheat spaghetti (5 points) with 150g low fat bolognaise - (guessed at 7 points?)
Might indulge in some crackers and low fat soft cheese with salsa later!
Oh BTW - what's this about everyone's points being reduced? I don't have esource or go to meetings, so have to rely on information from others.0 -
Hootie - check that the time is set right on your pedometer. I forgot to put mine back and it didn't count some evening steps which is how I realised that could affect it. I think it resets the day at midnight.0

Well haven't weighed for over a week :j
And quite pleased since I lost all that weight beginning of the month I've only put on a lb..
Might do an Erme diet beginning of the year (will deffo do it if family stress me out :eek. Some folk eat more when they are stressed. I eat less) to lose another few lbs
But quite happy the way I am right now :j

Afternoon to everybody. WI today, another 1 1/2 lb's off, so at least its in the right direction. Have been in hotels all week, so not really pointing food, so I think I've got the portion sizes worked out now. It was payday on Friday so I've treated myself to the pedometer, see how much I do actually walk in a week.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0
