Having stuck my head round the door a month ago, I have now taken the plunge and joined WW. Last night was my first meeting and I was a little underwhelmed to say the least. Fortunately I'd done a bit of research into the plan myself and knew the principles but our leader didn't welcome us as new members, nor did she explain the plan to us. I had (naievely, maybe) thought that she would have been interested in how much we were hoping to lose etc.
Ah well. Finding the points relatively easy so far, but today's the first proper day! I've used quite a few points already today, but I've flipped lunch and dinner as I'm off to salsa class tonight. 'Dinner' will only be around 3-4 points.Don't worry about typing out my username - Call me COMP(Unless you know my real name - in which case, feel free to use that just to confuse people!)0 -
1.5 lbs lost here. I know that was a good loss and I should be pleased, but I'd put 2lb on last week, so was hoping to have lost at least that plus a little more, as I've been good as gold! Oh well, here's to next week, if I could lose 1.5 lb again I'll finally be at my 10%, which I've been so very, very near ( and so very, very far) since July!0

I'm really surprised at this; at my first meeting, the leader made a point of introducing new members to everyone else, and then asked us to stay behind for a few minutes while she explained the plan and how the goal setting worked (using % of body weight initially)
Maybe you caught her on a bad day...
I'm back at work this week and have found it really hard, because I've been staying in hotels and the food is scrumptious, and if you eat in the hotel, its chargeable to the company. But I daren't count the points!!!Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

Well done everyone. I may have only lost 1.5lb but I tried on my favourite pair of trousers yesterday, and they fit! They're still a size 20, but they were always a ridiculously small size. So pleased, I was literally dancing round the room in them:rotfl:Could still do with a few more pounds off before I'd actually attempt to sit down in them, but I'm getting there. Just shows how ridiculous sizes are though, three pairs of trousers, all from M and S, a size 22 ( I wasn't this size in anything else when I started losing weight) a size 20 and an 18 which all still fit, with the 20 being the tightest fit of all! I also tried on the dress I wore for my 40th 3 years ago, and that fits well again too. There's absolutely no denying that I'm still far too big, but I'm getting littler...
Hope everyone else is having a good week. I'm off for Afternoon tea with my mum this afternoon ( one of those deal offers) but have 19 points left for today, plus only used 5 of my weeklies so far so will have to try and roughly point as I go along...0 -

Well done! I wanted to lose 2 stone to be back to my 'normal' weight before I started putting it on. I've managed to lose half a stone and am really happy that I can actually do up most of my bras without them feeling tight around my back. It's really nice reaching those types of mini achievements. Now if only the rest of my clothes would fit!

Although people shouldn't feel hungry on PP, it can be hard reducing your points when you hit targets and I have been using fibresure powder in food to keep me feeling full for longer. It has a propoints value of 0 so can be added to cereal, hot drinks, baking etc.If you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you always got!0
