Well that's week 5 of my 3 free months done, I lost 3.5 lbs this week, so have now lost 14 lbs...

Got a ticking off from WW for losing too fast, that's a novelty, never had that before. I only used a couple of my weekly points last week, so will make a point of having a few more this week ( we're away next weekend, so will save them up for then)

  • Hi can I join in please? Have paid my dues & read the whole thread! Ok am struggling, am going into my third week (lost 1.5lbs 1st week & 2.5lbs last - weigh in on Fridays) but the bh weekend has been murderous for me & I have used up all but 9 of my weeklies :o not sure how I'm going to last the next 4 days. Any advice fo filling & low pp? I like what an earlier poster said about stocking up, i.e. 60g branflakes instead of 30g. mmmmmm going to go & fidle with the figures to see how it comes out...

I've joined the internet one, I'm not losing weight as fast as I had hoped to. I know in the past on the old style WW programs, I always lost about 3 or 4 lbs a week, rather than the 1 or 2 on this new plan. Maybe I need to eat less points?

Well if you lose it too quickly you can end up losing muscle, so a pound or two a week is fine... that's why I got a pop-up telling me it's bad to lose it too quickly this morning.;)

If I'd lost a pound or two a week instead of letting it all creep on I'd be a size 10:D

Hi can I join in please?

Course you can, there are only a few of us here, so the thread seems to be manageable...

I have 60g of Bran flakes every morning, with skimmed milk and 10g sugar, it is 8 points well spent as it sets me up for the day. Later on if I've had a dose of the munchies I can have a low point dinner by getting creative with spices, butternut squash and roast peppers.:o

mintymoneysaver... you've saved your points, so you're prepared for the scales, so don't be afraid of the weigh in on Tuesday! If you don't lose this week you'll lose next week because you've got the good eating in place for the rest of the week.

I wasn't TOO bad. I worked out that with my 30 daily points plus my 47 I had 107 points to spend on Sunday/ Monday. I didn't work it out exactly but did a quick tot up on the way home last night, and if I did go over it won't have been by much. The bbq was actually fine, it was staying at our friends the night before and the "Another glass of wine?" that did the damage! I very rarely use my points on drink, I'd rather eat, but it was just one of those nights...:rotfl:

Well done on your weight loss too!

On the very rare times I do drink, I've turned to vodka and diet coke or diet lemonade rather than wine.

helloooo....have you tried making one of the low/zero point soups? how about chicken with lots of different veg? a stir fry or a roast with mainly veg and a couple of roasties to keep you going? are you eating fruit - a banana or apple to keep the pangs away?
