Hi Everyone

I have been reading thru all the lovely comments about Diva she would be overwhelmed ... I know she hasn't posted on this thread for quite some time now but whenever someone mentioned her or sent hugs I would pass the message on ... typical Diva response was "I'm surprised they still remember me"

I'm still pretty numb ... it's beginning to sink in that I won't get another text or a phone call with her singing down the line simply to cheer me up ... I know exactly what she would tell me tho ... "Get a grip ... life is for living .. make the most of what time you have left darling" ... she has said that to me so many times in the past

So that will be my tribute to her .. I will keep fighting & make her proud of me ....


Love & hugs to all ... hold your dearest close & don't be afraid to tell them you love them ... Diva & I never said goodbye with out saying "love you" ... I can be grateful for that.

all he has eaten over the past 24 hours is rice with peas (one of his favourite things!) and a few slices of banana. he's not eaten anything today

Went to the Dr this morning, and like Loulou's he was a bit c**p does not know whats wrong with me, its either a virus or the start of shingles, he has given me nothing for it, just told me to rest and paracetemol, told me to take the week off work to, but we will see, I dont like taking time off.

OH is just doing dinner, I prepped a beef casserole and jacket spuds earlier, feel as weak as a kitten now though, early to bed for me again tonight

RR- Watch out for rashes, and if one does appear fly to the Drs. The sooner you get treatment for Shingles the less of an impact it can have

been a busy day at work today.

Some beautiful songs for Diva :T I'm glad to hear that Tristan is still doing well, it was this that Diva and I pm'd about as my best friend had terminal cancer and Diva was wonderful and supportive to me.
I'm sure her family will find great comfort in knowing how much we all thought of Diva.

Just had tea - homemade chips, egg and beans, yummy!:)
WM is on, have tidied up. Both DSs are at friends tonight so a quiet evening here. Dogs to walk and washing up to do before we sit down.
Another early shift tomorrow for me - roll on Wednesday for my day off!

Been a hectic day again, finally finished my mock, my poor brain was breaking with the spreadsheets. Went to physio, but i have to go back at the end of the week for another check up. Which is all good:T. The physio was lovely, shame i get a new one next week.

Had a quick meal for tea, i'll make something more substantial tomorrow, was just too tired today.

Still not finished though, have to take coddy to cadets and force snips to bed.

The thread has brought tears to my eyes with all the lovely messages for Diva :A She was a special person who will be greatly missed by all those whose lives she touched.

I had a busy day at work. Brand new group of kids started today, only 10 instead of the normal 15 as we are struggling for numbers this time of year. Nice number to start with though. They are a lovely bunch, lots have issues but seem to be managing. The day just flew by!

I felt a lot better today, still had a few dizzy spells but they were short and manageable.

OS wise - got soup out of freezer for lunch tomorrow, washing needs to be put away, making stirfry for dinner.
