RR- Watch out for rashes, and if one does appear fly to the Drs. The sooner you get treatment for Shingles the less of an impact it can have

Thanks DG, Dr told me if it is shingles not to go back as there was nothing he could do anyway

Didn't know MSD so not a lot I can add.....

Been cleaning and tidying today around uni and getting work done...think I'll be clothes sorting later, it needs doing.

Oh, and before I got told I was lactose intolerant (I'm also gluten intolerant so more fun) I used to projectile vomit. Still do if I'm not careful what I eat.

Well I have had it twice, and had tablets both times, the second time I knew what it was and got them quickly and it was less painful and went quicker. They are expensive, so don't always want to give them, so if it is go to a different Dr. in the practice.

    Happy birthday Jackieo!

Just in from work, had to log on to pay my respects to MSD:(
It was very sad news and like others have said I have been wondering last night and today if she got to see her nephews again....she loved them so much but didnt get to see them due to family issues.
She was such a caring person and full of life.
i have chosen this song for her as when I was choosing wedding songs I mentioned this one and had a link to it and Diva said she used to sing it many years ago and it brought back some happy memories for her.

hope you are singing along Diva. God bless you my love
PS I still make your apple cake;)

JackieO...Happy birthday...hope you had a lovely day and were thoroughly spoilt:D

RedRuby...if it is shingles you do need to go back to GP to start Acyclovir treatment...what planet are GPs on?

    Hello Daily People

don't post on here usually (always short of time) but do 'know' some of you and I wanted to post today to say how lovely so many of you changed avatars for Diva...

she touched so many of our lives

I've missed seeing here 'around' and I'm saddened to know I won't see her again.

  • Happy Birthday Jackie.

Sky man finally turned up at 6.00pm when it was dark and then said he had to put up a new dish which he couldn't do coz it was dark and the access wasn't good so have had to re-book for next Monday :wall:do these people think we've got nothing better to do than hang around all day waiting for them to arrive??

Also DD is still not home so am guessing she is still at ex BF's

Sorry for being so negative today I know there are a lot of people with worse problems than mine so I will try and be more positive.

DS has asked for egg, bacon, mushroom etc for dinner so I will be making that in a moment.

    Enjoy your evening everyone xx
