Hi,
my list was too long and overwhelmed me,
as i pretty much knew it would! Still i did end up decluttering a LOT of stuff and now have some CLEAR SPACE even in junk room and can actually get around so that I can get on a lot better! :T
I'm hoping that if i just keep going I will be able to establish simple routines next week. I've still got loads to declutter but it feels a lot better already. Life is really tough at moment so I'm just giving myself credit for trying! Cheers for acceptance and support on here! :beer:Finally Debt Free (£8k to zero) yay! :j :j

Shout if I can help. I have energy for those who matter, and you have earned your place in that category many times over :A
:o:o hex you are making me blush and wobbly! If you can help I would have you declared prime minister - I need more energy, will power in general but need to lose weight (doctors orders), someone to care for me, to straighten out the rubbish in my head, make my life fun again and ..................... lots of things!:(
igaveup well done with the decluttering - it will def make life easier so keep at it - every single item you get rid of will help.
piggers I doubt that very much - he could quite easily go if he wanted to and still be freja's daddy - he stays because he wants too - you are only thinking like this because you are tired and disappointed about your plans, you feel pulled in all directions and you are trying to please everybody. (((hugs)))
enough self pity and wallowing babbling from me - I off

could do better - must try harder

That isn't a bright side right now... I am possibly 3rd choice of female and I truly believe he wouldn't still be here if we didn't have the baby.
Pigpen this makes me feel sad. you have had enough to deal with, with your KH of an ex, so you dont need to be wondering about not being number 1 in your OH's eyes. If he didnt want to be with you and the mayhem that is your life
he wouldnt be with you baby or no baby.
It makes for terrible insecurities and paranoia as im sure you know and it damages the relationship if one person is insecure and the other isnt.
If you dont feel like you are number 1 and you should always feel you are the most important person in the world to him (well maybe number 2 after baby but defo should have felt that you were number 1 before she was born) then tell him, and stop running round after everyone, most are old enough to pull their weight in more ways than one and your OH needs to take more of an active roll with baby.0 -
Evening all
Got my act together and dusted all the bedrooms and put another load through the washer.
Plan for tomorrow is:
dusting of hall, stairs and landing
dusting the family room
hoovering and moping downstairs
wash bathroom floor
Also planning on going to town but that will depend on how DS2 is who is not feeling well again. Off to bed in a minute as my morning charge is arriving at 7:45 tomorrow! The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

^^^ wise words from toots, as usualWhen people show you who they are, believe them the first time0 -
Piggers I agree with Toots and Seafarers - they go if they want to go so they STAY because they REALLY want to
you are going through it majorly right now (the comment about exKH and the number of holdays he can shedule/afford was SO telling
I would have thought my ex might have taken his kids on holday but NO
He used to write, on their xmas cards (in which a 'small' amount of cash was enclosed) 'I hope you get lots of presents'. In the end I lost it big time and told him if he WANTED them to get lots of presents he had better start buying some himself - or shut up.
He shut up.
It is, a lots of the time, sheer drudgery doing it all by yourself and then you have the 'high and mighty my life's perfect' bunch slagging off single mothers as though we made a lifestyle choice
Yeah well if life were perfect daddies and mummies would stay together and brings kids up and no-one would die, or be ill, or have issues, or harm or neglect...and all those who wanted babies would have them and all those who didn't wouldn't...

Am I the ony selfish one who misses the single and irresponsible days when I did nothing for anyone else?
Definitely not. It's a distant, but vivid memory. I used to take ages getting ready when I went out - now I need about 10 minutes.
Huge (((hugs))) to everyone who is having a rough time (toots, lady liberty and pigpen included). It puts my own issues into perspective.
My house is another HHC (+ time to S&S the bits already sorted) cleaner and tidier. At the moment I'm splitting the time between the bathroom and the kitchen, as both are grim. DH sat in the room, occasionally looking at me when I went past. I'm just waiting for him to say something!
If I was bored and had time I could work out the percentage of my home that's sorted and estimate how long it's going to take me before it's all done - the equivalent of several marathons, I bet.
At least it's the weekend after tomorrow. x0
