Am I the ony selfish one who misses the single and irresponsible days when I did nothing for anyone else?
No babe, we all have days like that...:o:DC.R.A.P.R.O.L.L.Z # 40 spanner supervisor. No problem can withstand the assault of sustained thought.Only after the last tree has been cut down. Only after the last fish has been caught. Only after the last river has been poisoned. Only then will you realize that money cannot be eaten."l! ilyë yantë ranya nar vanwë"0 -
Evening all
Well I have spent the best part of the last 2 days in bed with one of those sickness bugs which is doing the rounds (must have caught it from W who had it last wk end). Thankfully I feel much better this evening and managed to take W to beavers for his last session as he has ow officially swum up to cubs
I called in at my friends whilst he was there for chat and a juice. They knew I had been ill when I said I didn't want any coffee :rotfl: I am the original queen of caffiene! I don't do any hot drinks when I am ill or have recently been ill.
Anyways hugs all round as I can't remember who needs what and don't want to miss anyone.Official Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang

Is that the fell running with a harness thing? DH loves the idea but his back is too vulnerable for us to risk it. hE has had two lots of major back surgery.
Sorta - although you can run anywhere you like if you're not racing.
Races are 5k and although the dogs could do it I couldnt so we run as far as I can
Usually round the block or round the park.

The harness I have goes round my hips so doesnt put pressure on me back
but I suspect it would depend on your dog - I'd not run with Mystic, I'd be surfing the pavement using me face as a board, WAY too strong. Shady will run but not pull and although little one pulls and has more stamina than any of us, she's not as fast as the huk's so I'll run with her too.
Some of the guys dont even run with harness, just dog and lead
So if your DH runs ordinarily he could probably give it a go
Back to the kitchen for me - bananas and custard has trashed it again

Hex I feel like it sometimes. I think after 27 years (next week) we could even do with a break and it just be the two of us. It almost happened when DB left but DS1 came home
have to keep smiling.
I have been food shopping today and have used all my spoons. Also went with DS1 to CAB. Wonderful people who should all be rewarded in some way.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

I have had a busy day getting stuff done by myself and with the cleaner.
I got 3 lots of washing dried outside - it was really warm at one point - freezing now though.
And I ventured into the shed and removed 3 carrier bags full of junk/rubbish - probably equivalent to a black bags worth so pleased with that.
will go find a list and update it.
