    evening everyone

let's see how much I can remember..

raphanius I am very sorry for your loss
sockdrawer thanks v much for the links, I can see lots of [STRIKE]time-wasting[/STRIKE] inspiration there ;)
LW glad you're ok, & that the yoga is helpful
greenbee forgive me, but I'm wondering if all this talking about how to separate personal stuff from work isn't just making it harder to do.. IMHO it might be better to draw a line and limit all contact to just professional - although I guess if you're hoping it'll come good then you still need to address the personal stuff. Please ignore me if I'm putting my nose in, but it's not nice to see you hurting.
shysarah glad you like the colour!
    soappie you around?? sending ((hugs))

not too much achieved here apart from the dailies. I'm having one of those weeks I think :o Going to have some HM soup now, and then see if I can S&S the kitchen and bathrooms. The house has to be tidy for Saturday - DH & I are going out for dinner (first time in months and months!!), and the babysitter we've booked has an immaculate house  I don't want her to be completely horrified when she comes here!!

Believe me I've tried keeping it purely professional but it doesn't seem to happen. We clearly still have stuff to sort out - the difference is I want to sort it out now, and he doesn't feel ready to. Somehow, hopefully we'll get to a point that we can live with.

I'm not going to see my parents this weekend - I'll go next weekend when I'm feeling better.

Agreed :rotfl:serious kitchen envy going on here!

BTW cat_smith - your snowy avatar doggy is gorgeous :)

Pretty chuffed with tea - found a veg delivery scheme that does local but not always organic and it's working out cheaper than Mr A for us. Roasty chicken with the bits from the box :) YUM garlic sauted kale :)
Now need to sort the kitchen again as DH wants to make pizza dough.

I think one of my guys would happily have a break from our house right now Mystic, the black and white is having a dominance struggle with the beagle (Shadow sensibly keeps out of it all) So Missy and Toffee were both drenched for scrapping and are now both sulking. Might take the big guys up to MiL's house for a decent run :) Huskies are one of those breeds that are friends with every one :) they'd come if you whistled :D
hex2 I often think about getting a rig to run them with - Missy comes from sled stock, super strong - we do something called Canix with them which they love (imagine sled dogs where you dont get the sled but have to run to keep up:eek:) just need to feel well enough to do it again :)

Mumof2 - there's a little jack here too that wont back down :) we call it Toffee's nemisis cos she wont back down either :rotfl:
shysarah - glad you like your yellow :) Kitchen is yellow here - soo cheerful :)

greenbee - strength and hugs, I think your being very brave.
emmb - Great to hear DGD is feeling better :) these littlies bounce dont they :)

Is that the fell running with a harness thing? DH loves the idea but his back is too vulnerable for us to risk it. hE has had two lots of major back surgery.

I am shattered. Just folding the stuff from the TD, shoving the last bits in the DW, sorting the boys stuff for the morning, letting the dogs out for one last wee then I am off for a bath. Am I the ony selfish one who misses the single and irresponsible days when I did nothing for anyone else?

ETA Also has kitchen envy! and for anyone who has cupboards and worktops. I have a 1950s sink and a scrubbed table.
