Well that's DH and DS1 decluttered to work for their 'all-nighter', if they're lucky they will be back about 9pm...
Mmm, what can I get up to in the meantime...no kids, just me and 3 cats...
Any suggestions?

Phew..
Hello all.
Haven't caught up with the fred so hugs to anyone that needs/wants one.
Been a crazy day and have only just sat down. Dad came over and between us we have painted the first coat on the hallway walls. It looks fab, it does need a second coat but it is lovely to see a nice warm yellow sunny custardy colour on those walls at last. We eeked out the paint very carefully and we both have our fingers crossed we will have enough to do the second coat tomorrow. Have counsellor in the morning so he is aiming to come in the afternoon and we should finish it up.
I love the colour so much. I had my doubts about it being too pale but now it is on am ever so happy with it.
So after the painting, I have cleaned up all the equipment, cleaned the kitchen up and emptied bins/litter tray. Washed up, hoovered round and am now collapsed on the sofa. Looked at the list.. walked to bathroom and thought s0d it. The bathroom is fairly ok and tbh my legs and back ache from bracing myself on the step ladder so I cant be bothered.
Now trying to decide if I have enough brain power to study a bit. I really need to but not sure..
Anyway.. Love, Hugs n Spoons to ya all

Thank you for the HHC Seafarers and Valli,
Managed to get the bedroom finished and all the hoovering done upstairs and the top half of the stairs done.
Continued on to declutter a box of old shoes belonging to DH and some magazines I'll never look at again.
Have to say, I'm going to have to be strong.... Got a load of 1970's Woman and Home magazines left in the airing cupboard by MIL. I'm a sucker for "vintage" mags, but logic dictates I'll never read/use any of them. I might just have to throw 'em out. Oh dear.
Tell me..... why is it, after I have dusted with a damp cloth left the room, the sun comes out, and shows the furniture I've just dusted dusty again. Grrrr.Saving up £25000/£3500 by Jan 1st 2012 by selling my clutter. Remember I'm doing it for Dad.
Textiles, languages, travel and a lovely home are not stupid things to want. You have immediate family's support.Appreciate what I've achieved so far. Other people's opinion of me is none of my business.0 -
Raphanius – very sorry to hear your news – thinking of you
Mumofjusttwo – if you feel your solicitor is dragging their heels, I suggest you write (solicitors only really cope with things written down) and obviously keep a copy of your letter, and tell your solicitor you think it’s taking too long and you’d like a time-scale for an early resolution – and that if you are not satisfied you do intend to take your complaint to the person in the practice with responsibility for complaints. Under Law Society rules there has to be a nominated person in every group of solicitors to deal with any complaints, and that name will either be available from the Law Society, or just by ringing up your solicitors and asking.
Once you’ve done that, if you’re still not happy, you’re free to complain to the Law Society – hence all the copy letters.
Alternatively, you can just say you’re going to the local newspaper/radio/TV – hopefully they’ll like the threat of that publicity even less!
Now Pigpen is going to chuck something at me for not flying.
I hereby declare that I intend to put washing in the WM tonight. And I have reduced my collection of 18 suspect cake tins down to 11!Work is not my Hobby0 -
Bathroom done, all shopping for party gibble and food done, chicken bits marinading, clothes organised...time for a sit down as we will be busy tomorrow cooking it all, decorationg function room, collecting cake etc.RIP Iain

Afternoon all
I've done the bathroom/toilet today, the rest of the stuff was done earlier in the week. One load of washing draped round indoors 'cos it's been raining all day and it still is.
Going to catch up now, hope everyone's OK.0 -
Hi everyone - just skimmed but it looks like hugs are needed all round.
Toots - hope you are feeling better today?
Need to remove George from my knee and get on with something useful but I am just too tired.
I have bribed the [STRIKE]little[/STRIKE] medium sized boys with some new lego if they keep the playroom tidy until Saturday night without being nagged. I have explained to OH that I simply cannot do everything and suggested the things he could do to help, including such complexities as washing in the basket rather than on the floor next to the basket. SS1 will simply not be fed unless he walks the dogs and empties the DW everyday.
I just need to come up with a way to cut out the middle man and hoover the dogs  Still seriously thinking about a robot hoover. Or a cleaner.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -
Why am I convinced I NEED a Pullman loaf tin.. ??? Square HM bread that fits in the toaster is sounding so good..
I have decided to gut DD2's room while they are kh's this w/e I am sick of the mess in there the door barely opens.. so I am going in with my binbags.. and she can sort her clothes when she gets home! but I want her old PC out of there and I'll set the PS2 up on her desk I think and clear it so she can do her homework there. I'd like o go through DD1's as well but I think she might not go to his so I'll make her do it instead and work it from there!
