Hi all.
Really sorry I didn't get on here yesterday - I was really strapped for time, as Mr LW was finishing work at 14:00 (half hour early, as he did the Late shift at short notice Tuesday) and I had a gazillion things I had to get done by then.:o
Thanks to Onestep and Dippypud for noticing my absence - I got tears in my eyes when I read that you'd asked where I was - daft baggage that I am.:oLW hope the drugs are working - should you really be doing HHyoga if you've needed the tablets??Not much flying done by me this week. survival is the key for me.....my DH walked out on me and our 3 children on Sunday.:eek:my mum passed away yesterday, she was 84.
Had a classic Lupie moment this morning - got Mr LW to scrat around to get the BM down for me (it lives on top of the fridge-freezer when not in use) thinking I had pizza on the meal plan tonight - only after he'd left for work did I realise he's on Late shift today so we have the 2nd half of yesterday's Shepherd Spy for dins, and the pizza is actually scheduled for tomorrow! D'UH!!:D
Not to worry - we're running a tad short of bread, so I've set it to making a loaf.;)
Visited the optician yesterday, and decluttered over £200 for new specs; sounds a lot I know, but I'm picky about my frames, also they're varifocals, with Transitions lenses. Blokey in the shop tried very hard to sell me a 2nd pair....
Blokey: Can I interest you in a 2nd pair?
Me: No thanks; I don't really need 2 pairs, and I really can't afford it.
Blokey: Oh, they're half price for a 2nd pair....
Me: Thank you, but I still can't afford it.
Blokey: And you do get Advantage points.....
Me (getting irritated): No. Thank. You.
This was after he'd tried to push me to have some Laura Ashley frames that were £80 dearer than the ones I actually chose, and were the wrong shape for me, and were gold metal (AFTER I'd specifically said I wanted bronze colour cos gold doesn't work for me). *rolleyes*
Oh well, my specs should be ready next week, than that's that done with for another year.:o
Flying-wise, today's list is all done except scrubbing the porcelain, so I'm off to do that as soon as I've posted this.;)If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

love hugs and spoons to those that need em.
ive done nothing the past few days really but the downstairs is ok it just needs another quick once over in the kitchen and the floors doing again.
upstairs the bathroom is ok and just needs a quick clean, the spare room is fine, just needs a wipe over but my RoD aka my bedroom has just been the dumping ground for the past week or so, so cooking some lunch and then going to go and do a couple of HHC in my room to get it in order.
ive been to marks and sparks this morning and ohhh the valentines meal is well worth £20. I got a £9 pack of steak and a £8.99 bottle of wine :j so to get a starter, side , pudding and box of chocs for a couple of quid extra is wow to me.0 -
make an appointment with a solicitor and start divorce proceedings.. right now.. if you are in receipt of benefits make sure the solicitor accepts legal aid and get it done.
You say you have proved you can manage without him.. proved to who? Everyone who said you couldn't cope? him? the children? You don't need to prove yourself to anyone.. So long as you and the children are provided for that is more than enough.
You can have your own personal list..
1. Ring a solicitor.. NOW!! You may have to wait a few weeks for an appointment with the better solicitors.. I had a 3 week wait for mine and he is good and had many many years experience (he was my dads solicitor when my mother divorced him in 1977!) already started divorce proceedings but he keeps on contesting it!!! Cost me over £1800 so far but think now its time to say if he doesnt sign it then he can pay for it. All because he doesnt want me to have part of his army pension (I think Im entitled to part of it as I did 12 years as an army wife and gave up my career to follow him about living his dream)
2. Bag up any of his remaining bits of crap lying about and in them.. it is SO liberating being rid of their crap, it just brings you down it being there.. get rid!! (call it decluttering!) Nothing here of his, I got my marching orders (army quarters) and moved from Germany to UK with noones help and left all his crap there.
3. Plan 5 things you want FOR YOU!! in the next 6-12 months.. they don't have to be huge or expensive just for you! I had on mine.. decorate the bedroom and get a new bed.. so it was mine! (dont need new bedroom furniture I got all new tax free from Germany before I moved and left him the bill!!!)
5 things for me :-
change my image (work commences Monday!!!)
Finish Open University Course (Bookkeeping)
Get rid of all things that tie me to KH (old car sat on drive rotting)
Start yog/keep fit/something
Quit the ciggys (again)
