Evening all, very little done here over the last couple of days. Sister and BIL decided that i would get lonely on my own so stayed last night. Now i love me sis to bits but i just wanted time to myself while hubby was away.
Plus hubby ringing every 10 minutes looking something doesn't help.
However i did get a new bathroom mirror and it is well and truely stuck to the wall. :rotfl:
Plan tonight is get kids to clubs, do abit of flying in the kitchen and bathroom and sort all the clean washing (there is tons).Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -

Got back earlier than expected today so hoovered the bedroom and upstairs landing, plus decluttered LOADS in the bedroom so you can actually see floor to hoover. :T
Admittedly, the carpet is covered in paint and general unpleasantness and doesn't look noticeably different when it's hoovered, but it made me feel holy...
Cleaned the bathroom floor and all round the loo - I have always "swished and swiped" in the bathroom but it's amazing how grubby the OUTSIDE of the loo is when you're at eye level with it. I suppose I have been lucky not to have any nasty sickness bug or I would have spotted this before.
For some reason, I don't appear to have planned anything for supper tonights so I'd best go and get something organised. Hope everyone's day is going to plan.0 -

Doncha love Grandmothers?
Red hat or red shoes, I think it comes from the part of the country you come from, I avoid wearing anything red - just in case:rotfl:
I had an auntie who never wore knickers:eek: but then I never saw her wear anything red either:rotfl:
Its a valid choice;)
Dw loaded and wm on.Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
Have done WM & TD.
DD has been dumped by her first little BF. She's not impressed, but consoled herself by eating his valentine's chocolate orange. But, she and her friends found a fire on the downs after school, called the fire brigade and showed them where it was, so she is quite pleased that she had a bunch of burly firemen telling her how wonderful she was.
She got cheese burger, corn on the cob and onion rings (her favourite) for dinner, which also helped, I think. Hopefully I can persuade her to switch off Pokemon and go and either have a bath or clean up some of her room, as the noise is beginning to really, really wind me up.
Now have to go out and do the bins in the rain because it's recycling and bin day tomorrow - and we're so close to the depot, it's normally done before 7am.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll

My DHs best friend (and our best man) has five, and a racing rig. I like them - and I am not generally that keen on dogs. Very bright if rather large.
You can fit a rather large number of ginger cats in the same space though. Do you think it was a huge mistake for me to work next door to the RSPCA centre
;)?
Dinner served, WM on yet again - time for TD I supect. Dogs fed. Cats provided with their 20 minutes of daily fuss. TGI friday - no packed lunches to make for the boys just work clothes and uniforms to do.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -
Had tea, DH gone to Explorers after dropping DD at Cubs, DS had a shower and just finishing his hot chocolate before going to bed. I've picked up a bit (not finished) and want to try to get the ironing done before DD gets home; then I'll wash up, then the knitting is calling. I've got a dreadful headache - going to have to dig out the parrots.
Re huskies, it was so funny when Pip met one; she's so diddy (Jack Russell Terrier) and he was so huge it was really comical - she held her own though and he didn't intimidate her; good girl!!Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -
I know there are a few people on this thread are having partner problems at the moment.
As my children are older, I no longer have the words to help express any concerns or questions you may have from the children of families who may be splitting up.
But I found this on the web and I thought it may be useful to someone.

Hope someone gets some comfort from it.
