 My DD got hold of my red nail varnish and there's quite a bit of it which has ended up on my creamy beige carpet. Didn't think that varnish remover's an option as it'd perhaps spread the colour.
Am pretty desperate for any suggestions that anyone may have.

maybe using remover on apiece of tissue paper as the paper would then soak up the diluted polish dont rub dab????

i haven't tried stardrops, think my nan has got some i can borrow. i've tried dabbing it with nail varnisn remover and a couple of carpet/ upholstery cleaners, which have faded it, but not removed it.

    Hi Clarabella
I had exactly the same problem a couple of years ago, lovely purple nail polish on cream carpets, courtesy of my 18 month old!! Thankfully it was upstairs, so I've hidden it!!
    Hope this link helps.

    Hi jamtart,

The suggestions on this thread might help:

I'll add your thread to that one later to keep the ideas together.
