How to get nail varnish out of the carpet

Options
My toddler has emptied a bottle of pink nail polish on the upstairs carpet, had a good walk around to make sure every room got a bit. Honestly, he stood on the bed and got a long handled brush out of the bathroom to get hold of it !!! Anyhow, any ideas how to shift it please????

    Hi jollymummy,

If you click on this link: Google you'll find lots of webpages with suggestions on how to remove nail polish from carpet. Good luck, I hope you manage to get it off.

Don't think U'll ever get it out...

Best thing to do would be to cut a square around the stain then , cut another sqaure of carpet from under a piece of furniture, and swap them.

    vio la

the stain in moved to under the other piece of furniture.

    :)

I just kept going over it with nail polish remover and eventually it does come off.. dab it though don't rub it that just spreads it further!
