Do you wear your clothes more than once before wash?

Pre-pregnancy workclothes:
Clean undies every day.
I used to dig holes in mud, and to be honest there was no point in having clean stuff every day as it would get filthy within 10 minutes of starting work. Everyone else was exactly the same, so no-one cared.
Non-work clothes:
Clean undies every day. Anything else gets worn until it needs washing. Sometimes this is a day, sometimes a week, depends on the item and what I've been up to.
Life's too short to be tied to the washing machine. If having different experiences, thoughts and ideas to you, or having an opinion that you don't understand, makes me a troll, then I am proud to be a 100% crying, talking, sleeping, walking, living Troll. :hello:0 -
Wow, what a fascinating thread!!!
Socks/tights and knickers - changed daily
Bras - wear for 2 days in winter, 1 in summer
Tops - two days normally, unless it's a particularly active/hot day
Trousers - 2/3 wears before washing
Skirts - as and when needed (they don't touch the skin, so am a bit less concerned with washing them)
PJs - 3-4 nights (God I can't believe people putting kids into fresh PJs every night, kids don't even smell as much as us grown-ups!)
Gym gear gets washed after every use, of course!Barclaycard 0% - [STRIKE]£1688.37 [/STRIKE] Paid off 10.06.120 -
Socks and undies get changed every day without fail. Pyjamas every few days.
I work out on site most of the week and whilst I have to look presentable I would only change site kit every few days unless it was dirty or failed the 'sniff test'. I extend the wearability of site kit by wearing a little t-shirt as a base layer which I change daily.
At the weekends I favour vintage dresses which would be ruined if washed/drycleaned after every wear. I wear a t-shirt/vest or cami underneath and also a slip to minimise contact with my skin (also makes dresses hang better), this base layer is washed after every use. I hang my dresses in dress bags with lavender/sandalwood sachets which leaves a light fragrance and air them outside every couple of weeks. I do the same with cashmere items some of which have never been washed, I have cashmere cardigans that are 10 years old that look (and smell!) brand new0 -

Ex-DH had a mother who believed this.
He was expected to wear underpants and socks 2 days, work and casual shirts two days, work trousers and PJs a week! I had to steal his jeans when he wasn't looking or it would have been once a month
May I add, he considered one bath a week 'normal' with'a good wash' daily. Oh, and deodorant was for women.... this was in the 1970s, but times were not that hard!
Needless to say his mother considered me to be over-zealous once we were married - and spendthrift for buying him more than 3 pairs of pants at a timeI can cook and sew, make flowers grow.0 -
No, I've always been funny that way and only wear them the once.
I guess everyone's different but I wouldn't feel "clean" if I wore my clothes twice.0 -

As a grown man, was there anything to stop him doing his own washing?0 -
Socks & knickers - clean every day; bra - clean every other day Occasionally change my undies for an evening (if I think Marley deserves a treat
)
Work shirts - clean every day. Work trousers worn for the entire week (I'm in an office, it's not like they get mucky).
Evening tops/jumpers - worn for two days unless I spill my dinner down it. Evening trousers/jeans - worn all week, it's only 4 hours a day and I'm not going out. I put on clean trousers/jeans on a Saturday (presentable for going shopping), and they last through until the following Friday evening.:heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls

Clean knickers and socks everyday, bra every otherday in winter, everyday in summer. I shower in the mornings and bath at night so am quite clean!
I do have a clean top everyday but make jeans and skirts last 2 days. I usually wear jogging bottoms when I am at home so 'outdoor' clothes last a bit longer.0
