Problems with O2 - Can someone settle an argument?

Hope this isn't short lived, but it appears O2 have pulled their thumb from up their backside and done something. The past 24 hours there has been an improvement in the 3G service in my area. The service is working like it was pre-Jan 27th. Both our handsets (mine and my wifes) are working fine with the service. Strange, considering that O2 maintained it was the handsets.
But as I say, hope it isn't short lived.0
