Hey rups, smoked salmon is fine as the smoking process kills bacteria.
"Raw fish that has been smoked, such as smoked salmon and mackerel, is also safe for you to eat. Smoking the fish kills any parasites. Other methods, such as salting or pickling, also make raw fish safe to eat." - from Babycentre.
Cream cheese is also fine as are mushrooms.

Hi rups,
Just wanted to say if you do have the nuchal test done and get the 1 in xx results don't obsess about the numbers.
My first came back 1:27,000 and second came back 1:6,500 my OH panicked because it was so much lower than before but they are both low risk and not worth worrying about. Low risk is Low risk.Overdraft = £1000 Emergency fund = £2500

The nuchal measurement has to be done at the first scan c. 12 weeks as the bit of fluid they measure by the back of the neck vanishes after that. The 20 week scan is for other anomolies.0
