This is true. Once you see a heartbeat the risk of miscarriage drops to around 2 per cent, the same as the risk level when you get to 12 weeks.

However, I have been in that 2 per cent. I guess someone has to be. So while the risk DOES drop, it is not a guarantee. Don't want to bring the PMA down but as my midwife said to me - you cannot guarantee any baby will be OK until it is actually born.

AFM, feeeling a bit wobbly today. Getting scared again about miscarriage, am 9 weeks today and scan is three weeks and two days away and it just feel so far. Didn;t see MW this week as I forgot we'd booked it in for Saturday so it's been a while since I saw her and I'm definitely feeling jittery without my reassurance visit.

Tried to use the doppler again today but still nothing. I know it's early and I have a retroverted uterus, but I'd still prefer it if I could find something!

OH out tonight watching the footbaall at the pub (I won't allow it in the house) so have too much time to brood...

Separate post cos separate thought - what would you ladies think about having a Team Sticky like on the Trying for a Baby thread?

We could list our names, how many weeks and days we are, our EDD and our scan dates, and then we'd always know who is due their scan.

Do you like that idea? If so, I'd happily do the list. Just add yourself below. I'll start with me.

Hi Skintchick .. you might find the list dies out a bit, if you look back over the thread there have been a few attempts but as under 12 weeks its a bit wobbly and people don't always come back to update

I understand that but I think it's hard on here as its not obvious who is on here and I thought it might gel us a bit in the way that TTC is. At least we'd know who was here and when their scans were. It doesn't really matter if people don't update after their scan.

Anyway those who want to be on the list can be on it and if you don't want to then that's fine too.

Hey lovely ladies

Just got back from my scan and all is well. Measuring spot on with my dates so due boxing day which makes me 13 weeks today. Had a very sleepy baby that didn't want to wake up despite me having to jump up and down and give my belly a good jiggle, so the pictures weren't that great. Nuchal measurement was 1.7mm so happy with that will get the full result in 3 weeks.

Rups - not long til Friday now! What time is your scan?
