I'm over 12 weeks too and still lurking about here. I like seeing the TTC ladies coming over (and let's be honest, I have plenty of experience of this stage of pregnancy..!)

Yes. Heartburn = normal. Your digestive system is slowing down, and the ligaments are loosening so the sphincter at the top of your stomach probably isn't as 'closed' as it usually is.

For one particularly fun week, I had morning sickness AND heartburn. Joy of joys.

sounds horrible. i am not feeling very good right now. as long as we are allowed gaviscon, then its cool. today i feel kind of faint too. all these things are coming out. just hope its all ok.

it is starting to sound like Rups is the only one less than 12 weeks though!

At the anti-natal classes all the pregnant women were sitting with gaviscon and just taking gulps of it.

i quite like the taste of it. well i may not now. gosh i am contemplating asking my manager if i can go off home as i really dont feel up to it.

Be carful with gaviscon as you aren't allowed all of the flavours!

Hi Ladies:wave:please can I join you? I'm 'promoting' myself from the TTC and TTC+12 boards!!! I'm 31, DH and I married for 6.5 years. Been trying for 2 years, NTNP for about 4 years. Got our BFP on Thursday (5 days before starting IVF).
My head is spinning to be quite honest, never thought this would happen. I've got loads of questions - hope you can answer some of them
- how do you feel? Any different? Any symptoms?
- when does MS generally start?
- are you doing anything differently in terms of lifestyle/work now you're pg?
- have you told anyone yet?
- what happens at the booking appointment?
- have you started to show yet?

I had nausea from about 6 weeks but apart from that and ligament pains didn't reallly feel any different.
- when does MS generally start?
Only had nausea luckily MS never really started. Last time from about 10/12 weeks I would gag when brushing my teeth

Nope
- have you told anyone yet?
We told people at 18ish weeks, a little nervous so held off making an announcement. Last time we were telling people before the stick was dry. No right or wrong time to tell
- what happens at the booking appointment?
Lots of forms and blood taken, not as exciting as you would hope.
- have you started to show yet?
I am currently 26weeks and until recently could get away with baggy clothes (ish) I am however on the larger side

Just remember everyone is different,ever pregnancy is different and every one on here is happy to answer any questions you have no matter how embarrassing or small they may seem. You are bound to feel nervous and worry about things as your body makes quite large changes
