Morocha I was really bloated at the beginning but now it's better (I'm 12 weeks this week).

Congratulation for your scan. Your little bean will grow so fast...faster than your daugher .

Do you have any other symptoms? Can you eat? Drink?

I was bloated and also I used to have lots of trapped wind :embarasse:embarasse:embarasse (which was really embarrassing ) but no other symptom...well except bigger boobs but that's not a bad side effect :rotfl:. I wonder if they will stay like that...I wouldn't mind :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.

AFM this week is THE week. I try not to think too much but I'll be glad when it all over (have the scan!). I'm full of hope that everything will be alright. It should be OK as I had not problems this time around.

Hope everyone feel as happy as me this week. We are closer to our dream babies than we were last week .

Rups - I have a similar problem! I am going to Henley Royal Regatta twice this year and need a dress that comes below the knee, with sleeves, and everything is sold out! I've been looking for weeks. I actually don't want a maxi dress but I think they are fine for a wedding, so don't worry about that. If you find anything in Phase Eight online I have a £20 discount card if you spend over £80, it came with a magazine, you can have the code off it if it would help.

AFM - 8 weeks today and things seem to be fine. Had a little go with my doppler this evening but can;t find HB. Think I may have listened to the cord but it might also have been my aorta! Not worried as it is so early and I have a retroverted uterus so it is harder to find. Still sick and tired with sore boobs so that's cool - I know with my missed miscarriage my symptoms disappeared so as long as I feel something I'm happy.

Aida, i can eat and drink no problems, my tummy seems upset tho, i am not retaining much at all.
My boobs hurt but are not getting bigger. I wish you best for your scan

No Rups yet and it's 9.21 - maybe she's having a busy day at work!?

I may have played the "Dad, I feel really poorly card" so I've got a day off to sit on my backside and catch up with a few house chores. Still feel pooey though. Doesn't help that my ever so sympathetic mother thinks I should be at work and jjust getting on with stuff.



Skintchick - have you tried Mint Velvet - I've had a couple of really smart dresses from there and they're not everywhere

morocha, so glad you had your scan. do you feel a bit more reassured? I had mine at 6 weeks and just seeing something little there made me mega emotional. talking of emotional, i am all over the place. I have found myself talking to my belly and asking bubba to be ok, and before i know it, i am tearing up. i lwas listening to my music on the way in, and heard Adelle's fire to the rain and that song was played at my wedding and i started again. gosh i am terrible.

DH is being very grumpy right now and short with me. I am trying to let him be but when he is like that with me, i get more upset. last nighti only asked what tea he was having, and he asked me to give him space. sob sob. i was hurt... i dont get men, and they say they dont get us.

Skintchick, yay for 8 weeks! :T Thanks so much for offering your card. i have really had it trying to look. so this lunch time, will pop into Oasis and then if hubby doesnt have his comedy gig today, i will go to debenhams and just get something. that way he can have his stupid space as well. I hope you find something too. such a hassle. i really need to ask hubby to take me to Matalan or something one weekend so can buy bigger clothes that are cheaper too as i am really finding it hard to choose what to wear everyday.

still heaving and nauseous so like you say skintchick if we are having these symptoms, its a good thing right? last night on the way back this stupid woman was blocking me on the staircase of the bus, so when i passed her she didnt move and i managed to squeeze past the bar which squeezed my belly, and then when i got off the bus i started worrying. silly me. :rotfl:

Totally do this too! And talking to my nan (who passed away less than 6 months ago) and asking her to keep my baby safe x

ah dizsie, that is sweet. whenever i have those vivid dreams of my sister, i ask her to look out for me too. i hope they are as weird as it sounds/looks on here.

I am not liking hubby right now though. humph. this morning i also saw him staring at anothe pregnant woman and she had her 'baby on board' badge on but she had really fake lips. i wanted to kill hubby. grrrr. feel insecure enough as it is.

Rups don't feel insecure... its just your hormones and he obviously loves you or he wouldn't have married you and then tried for a baby with you *Hugs*

thanks sweety. i tend to geti nsecure at times and i know all men do it, but when i am there and i see him doing that, it annoys me. PLus like you said my hormones are all over the place. you are right. we are married and he did agree to try for a baby. what am i like? just feel yuck you know? i went to get my eyebrows done and face waxed (i am a very hairy Indian woman, hehe) so the woman asked how long i was married for and whether i had any kids? So i ended up tellin her and she was like 'make sure you are all groomed and hairless' as that will have a wonderful effect on your baby'. i was like i am way too tired and feeling sick to even think about dressing up! so she said do it after your 3 months. lol

What does that even mean?? Your baby's going to love you whether you're like a plucked chicken or a gorilla. If you want to defuzz then you crack on, lovey, but don't let some beautician with funny ideas make you feel guilty on your baby's behalf!
