    Hi everyone, i really need some advice. I found out on Friday that im pregnant. I think my last period was 15th Nov ish, never been very good at keeping track. To make it worse they aren't very regular either. Im booked in to see my GP in an hour. What should i expect???

  • Hi Laura, congratulations! As you're not sure of your dates I'd expect them to refer you for a scan, however, going by your dates and assuming a fairly cycle it sounds like you're about 12 weeks along anyway! Good luck at the doctors.

    They'll probablyget you in for a scan sooner rather than later so they can date you. You should still get a 12 week scan (assuming you're under 10 weeks at the first scan) to get your accurate due date. :)
