Congratulations to everyone who has had their BFPs :D

Gembaxter - it feels like time is going back for me, I wish I was further along, cant bare the waiting :rotfl: 6 weeks today - see midwife in a week and a half, so counting down to that at the minute.

Yeah, it's quite good welshpolarbear. The midwife and GP have me down as 11+1 today based on last period so I have my scan this week. I know when I ovulated though so am fairly sure I'm more like 9+5 and have been counting based on my own estimate so that I won't be disheartened when the scan puts me at 9 or 10weeks. Hope that makes sense.

    Good evening ladies.

As far as timing goes my early scan following the spotting dated me one day later than I thought but I'll be interested to see what the next "proper" scan says. Only another week till I find out!

When DH and I first got our BFP I didn't sleep properly for a good 2 - 3 weeks! Not sure if it was hormones or an extremely active mind or suddenly giving up drink and caffine or just a mix of it all! I'm now making up for it though!

Night night, enjoy the last bit if the weekend x
  • Thanks twilight. It seems crazy to be classed as 6 weeks when I am 95% sure I ovulated 2 weeks ago.

Hoping they will take it as this though so I can get things checked out.

Feeling pretty stressed tonight, haven't seen anyone to make it official and still have over a week til I can see the go who's been dealing with my whilst ttc. I have dull ache lower right, but I am sure deep down its cos I'm bloated and cent go to the toilet. It's more like pressure than any kind of cramp and its not painful. But I'm so new to this I fear I'm very paranoid!!

Think I may have to go see one of the other docs just for piece of mind. Mine's just been so good with me that I'd really like to see her.

Sorry for that stressing girls, just feeling very emotional.......to be expected I guess!!!

Hope you're all doing well x
  • Hi WPB,

I'm around 5 weeks and also feel uncomfortable due to a bit of constipation. I had it when I was pregnant with my son too - must get hold of some dried apricots as I seem to recall that sorted me out before :p

It's normal to be stressed during these early weeks, I seem to notice every little twinge. I'm not seeing my GP for another 2 weeks (like you, I don't want to see another doctor) and it seems like ages away!

    Hope everyone is OK xxxx

    Morning ladies

First up, mahoosive congrats to the newbies - there are loads of you!! Great that you'll have a fab support network on here to help you all through. :j

Skip and jules - I hope your bleeding subsides - I know how worrying it can be. (((HUGS)))

Doglover - well done on 12 weeks!! :j Not long til you see your bubs now.

8+3 for me today and it's my booking appointment this morning. Bit nervous, m/w is a bit stern and I'm looking to be looked after tbh. We'll see.

Then tomorrow, I'm off on a short break and won't be back until Friday so I'll be AWOL for a while - hope everything goes well in my absence.

Feeling shattered, so so tired but I have managed (TMI) a few trips to the loo this weekend and so am feeling less bloated. I start my queasiness around 3pm every day - my mum is now convinced we're having a girl (old wives tale).

Anyway, have a good day girls.

    xDx

I've upped my fluid intake, swapped white bread for brown bread and am eating fruit and fibre cereal for breakfast. I've also stopped taking pregnacare as I've heard iron can make it worse - have changed to folic acid and vitamin d supplements instead. Found after a couple of days, it's helped me.

It's horrid isn't it - have been looking 8 months pregnant and just pretending at work I've got really fat!!

    Morning girlies :)

14+4 here, had some belly aches the last few days so little bubs must be growing :D

Had a most lovely breakfast of toast, scrambled eggs, ham and fried mushrooms washed down with a large mug of Twinings tea. It feels so good to be able to eat again, even though I've never been a massive tea drinker.

I only managed 5 hours sleep before OHs snoring woke me up... dare I say it but I can't wait until he goes back to work (he's on 2 weeks holiday). I am being very selfish and want my bed back (he works nights) Naughty me!
