So I have been to the Doctors and they basically said there is nothing they can do I have to wait it out now and see what happens. I dont feel pregnant anymore so I think thats it. I have to make an appt to see my doctor which I will do on Monday Im just hoping I can get in pretty soon. The Doctor was really nice he was the Emergency Care guy but there wasnt much he could say. Im pretty calm now. I cried loads last night but I have said all along what will be will be. I guess we just dust ourselves off and try again. I have some hope that its still there but who knows! Thanks for the thought girls. x

  • hugs SkipE... (and Jules) it may be alright yet. There are a few of us who have had some bleeding and even more with very few pregnancy symptoms at all. Unfortunately there is nothing you can do now except hope for the best. If the bleeding subsides I'd test again in a week just in case. In any case its good to release your emotions with a big cry... OH and I had a good heart to heart when I had my bleed. Whatever happens those on this thread and the girls on the TTC and miscarriage threads are really supportive...

I'm having a lazy Sat, trying to plan spring holiday which as luck would have it coincides exactly with my 12 week scan date so now we have to juggle our flights a bit more carefully. OH is miffed that scan is on the Monday of our week off but it couldn't really be better for me to avoid awkward work questions... already having to have a 'dental' appointment for my first midwife appointment in 2 weeks time... should be 10+1 then if all goes well :j

hugs to all and welcome welshpolarbear
    team yellow :)

mirrorimage Have you tried acupuncture? I had really bad nausea and sickness in my last 2 pregnancies and had this done.It really helped.

Doglover The bleeding seems to be a brown/pink discharge now.Still worried but might try and get an early scan done privately just for peace of mind. The thought of waiting til 12 weeks with my history would stress me out too much xx
  • Am so uncomfortable today. Thrush seems to be back and UTI has not gone either. The antibiotics make the thrush flare up and also gives some serious pain when trying to pee (sorry if TMI). Would discuss with a midwife...if I had one!!

Am feeling miffed again about that. Called the birth centre to ask about booking my own scan but apparently you cannot do it, it has to be done by the midwife. If I haven't heard by the end of next week (I'll be 11 weeks) to call then and they will look into it for me. Apart from being tired I don't feel pregnant, just thoroughly miserable.

Hubby didn't hear about the job as advised so now he thinks he has not got it. He is usually a "no news is good news" kind of guy so for him to think this is giving me reason to believe it has slipped through his fingers.

My son is obsessed with babies at the mo though which is lovely. Keeps talking about it too so he definitely knows what is going on, I don't care what people say on that part.

Hubby is on Coastguard all day tomorrow so just me and the boy. No idea what to do. No money so cannot really do much besides the park and usually we are only there 5 minutes before its time to come home for a nappy change! Men! :)

Hugs to everyone that needs them. SkipE - hope you are ok, I would agree with others to wait a week or so then test again, got everything crossed for you!

Gem - hope your OH hears something about the job, either way they should let him know - only common curtesy!

No symptoms here except for being really tired, thought I was going to fall asleep standing at work earlier :rotfl:

5 + 6 today for me - wish time would go faster!

  • Well after TTC for about 2 years We had a BFP yesterday
It really hasn't sunk in yet - We had a family bereavement last month so i was sure that was the reason for my late period

My breasts have been really tender though which resulted in me taking a test - i near died when it was positive

My tummy has been makin some crazy noises last night though almost as though im hungry or something - has anyone else had this at all?

As you can see i can't sleep - Am looking forward to seeing the doctor to make it official xx

Hello! Can I come in? I had a bfp yesterday at 11 days dpo- which I suppose makes me 3 weeks + 4. I am pretty nervous because it's so early but very excited too! :j

Good morning girlies, it's great to see so many newbies join. Congrats to each of you on your bfps and I wish you happy, healthy pregnancies :)

Jules and skipE I hope things are ok with you two and bleeding has stopped. I'm thinking of you both. I'm one of the ladies who had spotting and cramps at 6 weeks, thankfully it was one of those unexplained things. I really hope your beans are sticky. X

Yippee - 12 weeks today! My scan isn't for a week yet so I won't be shifting from this thread. It seems weird, for some reason I could never envisage getting this far. It must be the worrying side of me.

Gem I hope you and your DH are feeling brighter today. J R I hope you enjoyed yesterday.

    Happy Sundays all round :T
