Rups, I was feeling nauseous at quite an early stage too, due to my increased sense of smell. I didn't actually start being sick until around 6 weeks though. IBS is thought to have a hormonal link to it, and according to my midwife, some sufferers either say it completely disappears (like my lucky friend, who also hasn't had it since her first child was born), or it gets worse. Unfortunately for me, mine got worse.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170

Hi Rups, my MS started at 4weeks but Im pregnant with twins so maybe thats why.
Abis21 - not sure about another midwife. The midwife didnt really say a great deal to me last time so Im not particularly impressed with her so far
I found I had a lot of pains on my lower right side early on too. Was quite worried about it but after lots of reading online, it seemed very common
Ive not been feeling too bad for the last 5 days. Was a bit sick yesterday but for 4 days before that, didnt actually throw up, just nauseaus. Going out for a friends birthday meal tonight though so a bit concerned about that. Hoping they pick a table next to the loo just in case I need to make a dash for it! I certainly wont be getting my moneys worth, can only manage a few mouthfuls of food nowadays:j:T Gorgeous twin girls born 1st Nov 2012 :T:j0 -
Morning all.
Good luck for later littlemoog. excited for you. :j do come back and tell us how it all went. :0)
thanks for the lovely message jediquigley. I hope you are doing well too.
Is it too early to start feeling a bit sicky.. its just the feeling but i did heave in the loo earlier. yuck. i am only 4+6 though. this girl sparyed some perfume on me and i felt sick as soon as she sprayed some. ewww. does anyone else get ibs type pain too? i seem to constantly have it. i see the doc this wednesday so will ask away.
I started feeling nauseous as soon as I found out I was pregnant (at 4 weeks). Smells would really set me off. I didn't actually start vomming until about 5 or 6 weeks though, and boy! did I know about it....
I don't know what IBS pain feels like (I don't think) but I've experienced lots of abdominal pain throughout including indigestion, colic, upset tummy pains, mild cramping, stabbing pains low down on the right, stretching pains and ligament pain. Thanks ladies. i got worried, as at lunch time, i went for a walk and felt sick... and then rather than the ibs type pain they were slightly more prominent and i started freaking out. the thing is you cant always keep running to the doc about every pain..i hope that is all it is.
why cant it all be pain-free? sigh
bought a packet of chilli rice cakes from holland & barrette and that made it feel so much better. i stuffed the whole pack! then i couldnt eat my wrap at my desk but still finished it. felt like some fanta but it tastes weird. last time, i didnt have this feeling till a while after.. i hope all goes well. cant wait to see the gp now! i also got some natural hair dye as need to dye my greying hair! :0(Became Mrs H on the 1st of October 2011!!

Afternoon ladies
All well at the scan, Beanie was wriggling about everywhere, so it took her ages to get all the measurements! Scan put me back a day, so now due 13/11/12, and 11+6 today. I was so relieved when we saw the heartbeat, I burst into tears, and then DH kept giggling every time the baby jumped about
Suppose I should head over to the other thread now, but I'll still be lurking, and offering my dubious adviceLittle monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160 -

Hi all
I had my scan today and they put me back a whole week so am now 11+2 and due 17th Nov. Baby was being really stubborn so was there for 3 and a half hours as he ended up sending me away as the baby had hidden in a corner so he couldn't do the nucal measurement but got there in the end.I am a Mortgage Adviser

Hi
I am joining this thread as I am now 6 weeks gone with my first baby, just started to get sickness in the last few days, was at the doctors today to impart the news and just about threw up in the waiting room:o, but little F is due on 1 Jan 13, first baby for us both.:T I was on the TTC over 12 months, I had just lost over 2stone in weight to get fertility treatment and just about to make that call:D.
Hope to get to know you all xxxx0 -

Kavics, that's rubbish about your DH being awayIs it likely to be a long term thing? I seem to remember him being away came up rather suddenly when we were on the TTC thread? Glad you're not feeling too icky though, it would be rubbish to be constantly ill with no one there to help out. My DH is always getting things out of the fridge for me as there's a weird smell in there that makes me feel ill, but he can't smell it! I'm still super thirsty as well, can't get enough liquids at the moment
Unfortunately OH is not away because of work but because of health problems. He is very sick and has been signed off work. Without saying too much the main thing is that he has heart problems, breathing difficulties and his blood pressure is not under control. It's his 35th birthday today. He was undergoing treatment here but went back to Poland to see specialists after a well known surgeon here declared that there was nothing they could do for him. He got referred for second and third opinion but the appointments still haven't come through. Private appointments cost a lot and although we could afford them, he decided to go to Poland where he is from and get help there. We both know that this was the right decision as his condition deterioted in the past 5 months but it's very hard being without him, I'm feeling quite lost to be honest but need to stay strong for the sake of everyone. Is it going to be a long term thing? Well, we don't know. It can be weeks but it can be months, he is already undergoing treatment there. Our aim is to have him healthy and strong by the time baby is due.LittleMoog wrote: »Afternoon ladies

I'm so glad that the scan went ok, I can't wait for mine in 2 weeks time!
