Good luck with the scan today!

I'm still feeling good, no sickness (10+2 today) so hoping it will last. I'm just so thirsty all the time, yesterday I drank over 3l of water.

OH is still away, it seems that he will be back maybe in a month time :(. I struggle without him, have no motivation whatsoever.

Have a good day everyone, for once it's not raining here!

    morning all :)

I'm so overexcited, I couldn't sleep last night, felt like Christmas Eve when I was little! :rotfl: Roll on 2pm, I'm supposed to be WAH this morning but I can't really concentrate :o

Kavics, that's rubbish about your DH being away :( Is it likely to be a long term thing? I seem to remember him being away came up rather suddenly when we were on the TTC thread? Glad you're not feeling too icky though, it would be rubbish to be constantly ill with no one there to help out. My DH is always getting things out of the fridge for me as there's a weird smell in there that makes me feel ill, but he can't smell it! I'm still super thirsty as well, can't get enough liquids at the moment

Cleofish, I meant to post the other day about taking tablets - I have a huge handful to take in the morning, and I've set an alarm for about 45 mins before I normally get up - I take them then and go back to sleep for 30-45 mins to give my stomach time to empty before I get up (and start puking :o) I was worried about my thyroxine not being absorbed properly, but this seems to have worked well, even if I am sick first thing, there's nothing to bring up (sorry tmi!)

Good luck for your scan today littlemoog! Will be thinking of you. :j Only 9 days left til ours now - am getting super excited.

Awww, kavics, must be hard without your OH there. :( Does he have to work away quite a lot?

Moneypenny - with my pregnancy with DD I was never actually sick. I remember feeling sick quite often, and sometimes retching - but nothing ever came up. I think all things are normal in pregnancy, so try not to worry if your symptoms are different from other peoples. In some ways, being sick does actually help and the sicky feeling goes for a little while afterwards. But I found as soon as I ate or drank again after being sick that the feeling would return soon after anyway.

LadyM - I'm being a right fussy one with my eating. We used to have pasta quite often as its my DD's favourite food - but it mostly turns my stomach at the moment, so haven't had much of it at all since the BFP. Sometimes I do just fancy something and then can't really concentrate until I have eaten it now either, lol! Its hard to know what to cook as I don't know whether I will fancy it when it comes round to actually eating it.

AFM - I've had a lovely weekend. Haven't been sick in over 3 days now :j:j:j Still feeling queasy at times, but eating mints have been helping to take my mind off it I think. We've eaten out all weekend too, so I have managed to eat quite a bit and drink quite a bit too :T Had a 1st birthday party, a wedding and then a christening yesterday, so will be wierd to have to cook again tonight!

Had a horrible nightmare last night and struggled to get back to sleep afterwards. It reminded me of the night terrors I used to have when pregnant with DD so I do hope they don't come back again :(

Would really like a rest day today after our busy weekend, but at least the sun is shining this morning, and I can collect DD from school today after she was at her dads for the weekend. So musn't grumble I suppose!

Cake4Brains, I've been meaning to say - its good to see you here. I know I posted on the trials and tribulations board even less frequently than I do on here, but its still good to see one of the gang over here.

Hi Maddie, thanks I cant believe I am over here tbh! Hadnt realised you were here either, I must still be in my own little bubble :p

Congrats on being 12 weeks :T

AFM was supposed to have the 2nd half of my booking appointment today with midwife, as she didnt have time 10 days ago when we went. Shes just called to re-arrange it as shes too busy. Not impressed!

Thanks :) I'm supposed to be working at home this morning, but I'm waaay too distracted :o Feeling a bit guilty what with all the time I've had off sick. Hopefully will get back to concentrating properly from tomorrow (once the general excitement of telling everyone has worn off).

Must have jinxed myself this morning as I was sick about 10 mins after writing that message!! Can cope with the odd sick session tho - just don't want it to get really bad again :o

Awww, cake4brains - thats rubbish that she can't fit you in to finish off your booking in appt :( Is there only 1 midwife who can do it?

I know what you mean, I've had several retching attacks over the weekend, but not really been sick after meals which makes such a big difference. Much more manageable than last week.
