result! found a tub of haagen daaz pralines and cream! I forgot that I bought it as it got put at the back during a session of "freezer tetris" (DH buying too much bread, resulting in having to repack the freezer to make space)

The midwife phoned earlier and my booking-in appointment is on 7th May.
It's at our local doctors surgery which is in the village which makes things easier for me as being housebound alot means that I'm more likely to suffer the effects the longer the journey is.
She said the appointment will be an hour and a half though. Wonder if I can ask for breaks? No way I can go for that long.:(2019 Wins

I think I knew about all these things. I'm dying to eat liver, pate and salami but it's all because I know I can't. I'm really weird, ate so much junk pre-pregnancy and now can't even look at the stuff. Craving tomatoes and cottage cheese:).
I told my neighbour today that I was expecting. They are going through IVF so was very gentle but she was very happy for us. Now really everyone knows apart from my family, work and my friends.

Glad you got your booking appt through LadyM, I had mine today. Mine took just over an hour & I have a few other health issues that had to be discussed. Hopefully yours won't take too long, but I'm sure they can give you a short break if you explain.
I agree about all the what you can/can't eat worry. There is conflicting advice all over the place!
AFM I've felt queasy for the past few days. Ended up coming home from work yesterday as just felt so rough. Am on a course today & tomorrow though so sitting down & drinking decaf tea
Have been told that I'll feel sick if I'm hungry but I'm not finding that! I feel sick when I've eaten but most of the time I don't want to eat anyway!Married my wonderful husband February 2013!:happyhearI want to wear my beautiful wedding dress everyday- it would make shopping so much more fun, I mean, people go shopping in their pyjamas these days.......Must STOP spending!!!Proud to be dealing with my debts!0 -

Would it be easier on you to request a home visit ? If the midwife is told of your reasons why m sure she would be happy to accomodate you.Bow Ties ARE cool "Just because you are offended, doesnt mean you are right" Ricky Gervais0 -

I'm 8 weeks today and feeling like Pukey of Pukesville. Retched really badly last night (TMI sorry!!), wasn't sick but pulled all the muscles in my throat, they still really hurt this morning. The smell thing seems to have kicked in too, everything is making me feel sicker! Finding it hard to cover up the feeling sick when I'm out and about with people...hopefully it will be easier when I tell everyone and they can stop asking me why I'm so quiet...I'm getting less convincing by the day!
Hope all are feeling as well as can be expected xx
I'll be 12 weeks on Sunday by my datesScan is at 2pm on Monday so I'm working at home in the morning, and have the afternoon off.
My tummy muscles constantly feel like I've done loads of ab curls at the moment :rotfl:
I'm finding it really difficult to eat today, I'm just so fed up of being sick that I don't want to put anything in my stomachIt seems like a waste of groceries if nothing else!

Rups, I have used my normal face cream and makeup. Didn't even think twice about it. I also used cream to tidy up my lady garden which apparently is a big no. OoopsOverdraft = £1000 Emergency fund = £2500
