12 weeks today, feel and look alot bigger tho :(
i've got my 1st scan on Monday, cant wait to see bubba but really cant be bothered to hang around for two hours tho either, mind you, i might beable to find a quiet corner and have a nap :)

I'm only 10 weeks and I'm really struggling to do up my jeans (using a hair bobble today!), which were loose before I got pg  I haven't put any weight on yet, so I guess it's all bloating :o It's all adding fuel to DH's constant cry of "It could be twins!"

    Hello lovelies.

Have very bad cramps at the moment but I've heard that's normal!

Haven't put any weight on as of yet. I have quite a small frame so I think when I really start to show, I'm going to look like I'm about to topple over! :rotfl:

My sister is very petite, and didn't show for ages, even at 9 months you would have thought she was only about 6 months. I think it's to do with her super disciplined abs! Niece was quite little for our family (7lb3!), and there wasn't much water apparently.

I on the other hand am quite large, with wide hips and a fat belly, so I don't expect to look pregnant (as opposed to fat ;)) for months!

Has anyone else gone off of tea and coffee?! I'm an avid tea drinker and know that in pregnancy you can go off of them but I hate that I have.:( I've started drinking it going "Oh gosh, now I have to finish it!" whereas I absolutely loved it before!

Please tell me it will get better in later pregnancy?! :o

The only problem is that alot of my fluid intake comes from tea because I don't like alot of drinks.:(

hasn't happened to me yet, thank goodness, I couldn't live without tea! I have switched to decaff after 2 cups of regular though. I drink a lot of sugar free squash, but I've found that if I drink too much at once it makes me sick :o so I've been trying to sip constantly instead of downing half a pint in one go!

Be careful if taking a multivitamin that's not formulated specifically for pregnancy. You shouldn't be taking anything with Vitamin A in it.

The multivitamins are for Oh not for me:).

That's good to know! I can't imagine how I'd handle 9 months without a cup of tea!

LadyM- I haven't gone off tea but am trying to cut down so I prob only have 2 cups a day. I'm drinking lots of water & squash though.

I have been feeling a bit nauseas the past few days but not actually been sick. Really fancied chips & pizza on way home from work but settled with Chicage Town pizza (for now, can't guarantee I won't have dnner later too!?) Although I'm so tired so I might very well go to bed soon.

Still a bit unhappy about work- had another meeting regarding my pregnancy Risk Assessment today & SMT are telling me it's safer for me if I tell all the staff asap. I have real issues with this though a) I haven't even told my parents or family yet so don't want all of work to know before them! b) it's still such early days & I am so worried something will go wrong :( At the moment SMT know, the RA co-ordinator, my 2 Teaching Assistants & my friend who is the teacher next door so there is always someone on hand if I need them (it turns out there's A LOT I can't do!!)

I want to wear my beautiful wedding dress everyday- it would make shopping so much more fun, I mean, people go shopping in their pyjamas these days.......

Emylou, I told the minimum number of people I could at work to change my duties, which was 4 plus the occ health department. Those 4 are helping me cover things until we've had the scan and seen that everything is ok. As there are whole rooms I can't even go in now, there were quite a few people I needed to speak to, otherwise it would just be my line manager and occ health.

I would think that your two TAs plus the other teacher would be enough for now, as they'll be there to do things you can't, and you could tell other people as and when it becomes necessary? Have you found out about any one else's pregnancy so early? Is it really their normal practise?
