hey ladies

all the best for your scan tomorrow emsbet and your baby booty looks great.

i wont be doing any knitting as i dont know how lol plus the baby will have two grandmas and a great grandma who knits.

Telling the parents today went well, tears and hugs and everyone seemed please, we also told our siblings with strict warnings not to mention anything on facebook. i will be breaking the news to friends and work colleagues after our scan.

my sister has already offered her moses basket and car seat which is great.

12 weeks today so will stay here till scan but pop into the next thread as well:)

Been out to lunch with Moon today, then round to my Nana's on the way to my Mum and Dad's. My Mum fished out her old maternity records from when my sister and I were born - the scan pictures were amazing, in the fact that you could hardly make out a baby at all -just lots of grainy white splodges. I have found out how much I weighed at birth now though - 7lbs 3oz. My sister was 8lb 1oz though as my Mum had gestational diabetes, and my sister had a large head. My Mum was amazingly playing squash twice a week at 39 weeks' pregnant, and had my sister at exactly 40 wks! My Dad is still not really giving much of a reaction towards it all at the moment - he said he's scared of counting chickens before they hatch. My Nana is pleased.

I am definitely having a strong healthy baby, I've just demolished a pile of cheese and ham sarnies at this time of night after waking up starving!

Hi, hope everyone is feeling ok?

According to traditional dating I'll be 8 weeks in a couple of days, but I'm pretty confident that I couldn't have conceived before Dec 14thish, which would make me 5, possibly 6 weeks? Don't understand it at all

Also my mum told me today that I have a bump :eek: Admittedly I'm not the smallest of girls, but even I've noticed that my 'wine bag' stomach has changed shape. Maybe it's just bloating? :rotfl:

oh... my 12 week scan was flipping fantastic! The little baby was bouncing around all over the place. It was totally magical.
