I work for sky doing tech support for phones and bb from my bed! Legs up, lots of pillows behind me, phone to one side, paper work the other and use a laptop. I plan to go in maternity in May. Oooh coconut oil on hair sounds good. How do you do that?

its an old indian culture thing where the oldies say it does wonders for your hair and scalp.. we used to kids just smear loads onto our heads and rub it in well into the scalp and all over the rest of the hair and leave it overnight or a few hours and then wash if off with shampoo.conditioner. very little is still left but i always had such healthy hair and shiny.. now its a mess and going grey. now i know what those elders say was for a reason, or when they said to eat almonds everyday (a handful) as good brain food and good for preventing headaches.. i dont do any of that. :( i will start. as soon as i saw you write coconut, i was taken back to memory lane :)

  • Just reading through the ttc thread and we should be getting some more newbies soon - yay :) Lovely to see this thread moving quickly. As Gemma said, everything people said is dropping out my head so I will be selfish and post about me!

Started my first week at my placement and it was just observations but I am absolutely exhausted! Starting to teach from tomorrow so will see how that goes. Have been going to bed really late considering how tired I am so having an early finish today, I climbed into bed and napped for 2 hours. That was through lunch so woke up feeling incredibly nauseous :( Apart from a quote from my mentor (who I'm waiting until scan to mention pregnancy) that was a jokey 'I'd like to rip woman's wombs out!!' as she was now doing extra work due to someone going on maternity leave - eek - I think this placement and pregnancy should combine quite well! Have to see how tired I get though, I taught a half hour dance class this week and was aching incredibly the next day.

You must be very clever Rebekah. ours is sky and breaking all the time (currently going very slow!) but I wouldn't have a clue how to fix it let alone be paid. I'm glad your scan went well, has it settled in yet? You are a pregnant Rebekah :) congratulations to the other graduates, hopefully we will see you soon on 12-24... I am currently 8 weeks and thinking it may be going okay as noticed i was *TMI* getting increased CM and this was on the what to expect email so i feel normal but know lots of things can go wrong still. I've forgotten to ask previously, does anyone have a really dry mouth when they wake up? Mine feels really cotton mouthy, as if I'm sleeping with my mouth open which I didn't used to do?!

I will trawl back and see what I missed :)

  • Hi everybody:wave:. I am four weeks pregnant and thought I should move over from the TTC thread to here.

I just wanted to mention without trying to scare anybody that i went to the chiropodist yesterday and he was very careful about what he did to my feet as there are reflexology points in your feet that can cause problems before 12 weeks so any ladies thinking about having a pedicure please be really careful, he told me that my boyfriend shouldn't even massage my feet at the moment.

Student. With regards to the dry mouth. I have a theory wether correct or incorrect I don't know but I am
In the mouth business do should know something. I have noticed my nose is a bit stuffy apparently a hormonal thing which has been causing me to mouth breathe at night. Not something I normally do but alas cotton tongue in morning. Also I'm drinking less before bed to avoid multiple nightly peeing so those two combined I think are accounting for mine.
Yuk today woke with headache and been on and off all day. Think I might be grinding at night too. Back to sexy bite guard whoop
love you lots like jelly tots :o

Hehe they train you relatively well but tbh its so rigid that you have to follow a certain guide and they dont like u deviating from it!! I could easily have sky half price or less but I would avoid them with a bargepole :rotfl:Drop me a pm if uwant and ill see if its owt i can help with without dipping in ur account.
My cm is mostly creamy lots. Have have had a couple of wet days the past week though. Oh yes my mouth is dry but mainly because except for 2 weeks i have had a constant cold or sinus infection with this!! I'm suffering like hell and currently on antibi's for the sinus infection that just won't leave me ... Weeks 4.5 - 7.5 a cold then 9.5 - now a full on sinus infection. Don't wanna get pregnant again tbh!!
  • I have alternated between waking up with a dry mouth and my WHOLE FACE being covered in dribble!
