blimey fishcake, i would freak out if someone did that to me on facebook as only our close family know and that's only because my dad is flying back to Asia this week. Hopefully you've nipped it in the bud now. Are you waiting to tell MIL face to face?

panicked myself as wasn't having sharp pains but now just feeling sick all day. Hubby and I are off to London via megabus tomorrow for a couple of days so I bet that is going to be a fun journey! any advice for feeling sick while travelling? x

I had no sickness at all, but when I got onto a train I felt like I could barf everywhere.

I'd say take water to sip on if you need it, layered clothing, so you can take off when you feel too warm (this is was made me feel sicker I think) and some little snacks, cereal bars etc to nibble on if you get hungry. Try and sit near a window too, so you can open it and get fresh air if needed. Good Luck x

i got an aromatherapy braelet from holland and vbarret for 2.99 called wrist angel and it has ginger, orange and peppermint aroma - u sniff it when u feel sick. ihavent been sick in two days!!!!!

damn just been on their website and the gits have them free for first 50 people so get going worth a try!

fishcake - really sorry to hear about the facebook incident you must be mad, i know i would be.

its difficult to keep it stum when some people know, i think you have really got to trust the people you tell. we are telling close relatives at 12 weeks and then our scan is at 13 weeks so wont tell work or friends till then, am hoping it will stay off facebook till i can tell most people in person, i dont trust my brother in law to keep it quiet though grrr

today has been good, not many pregnancy symptoms. my latest thing is needing to get up for a wee bout 3.30 then cant get back to sleep till i eat something as belly is sore. plus i do seem to want to eat all the time and i know you dont need extra energy for baby until last trimester.

the realisation of all the things to sort for a baby is going round in my head, so much equipment to get, worried about the cost of nappies especially for some reason lol OH caught me looking at baby stuff in tesco this morning, whoops.cant get too excited till first scan

i am desperate to tell people....3 weeks till i can....

Hi all, wondered if it would be possible to join your thread.

Found out I was pregnant a couple of weeks before xmas (not that the doctors were interested when I phone to ask if I needed to see anyone!). Got my first appointment with the midwife on 12th January with estimated due date of 15th August, can't wait to see her as i feel rather nervous and just want to check that everything is ok.
