If you have diarrhoea, you should not take anti-diarrhoea medicines, such as Imodium, during pregnancy. It is safe to take oral rehydration salts, such as Dioralyte. If you are in any doubt about whether it is safe to take medicines during pregnancy, check with your doctor or pharmacist.0

Hope your feeling better soon and the salts work.
I'm feeling rather lucky apart from getting up most nights at about 3ish to run the loo, i have not had many pregnancy symptoms. Fingers crossed it stays that way having read some of your posts

its my first baby, pregnancy going ok so far. had awful food aversions right from beginning of pregnancy but seems to be getting a lot better, had some sickness but didn't last too long and not sure if that was down to having a bug. now on week 11 and convinced having a boy. first appoint with midwife on 13th jan - its mid day so going to have to be creative with excuse. work don't know yet. looking forward to reading more stories from you all. also where have you found good for maternity clothing? so far mamas and papas are the best.2025 financial goals & challenges!

Thanks for the kind words guys

Today is a mega sleepy day which is good because OH closed the shop for the day and I can nap all I want. Bliss!
And I have just learnt the hard way that my future is going to be condiment free for a while. BBQ sauce, Ketchup etc are all turning my stomach on smell alone.

Its my first too but im only 8 weeks, we would like a boy but dont really mind so long as it is healthy. My first appointment with the midwife is 12th Jan (booking in appointment?) but she has already phoned regarding hospital choice so she could start to plan scans etc. My appointment is at 1pm, and am just telling them I have a medical appointment (i'm not one for having time off so hoping they do not ask questions). Although I havnt been shopping for any maternity clothes yet I have been looking online at M&P, Dorothy Perkins, H&M. Back to work tomorrow after the xmas break and hoping I can still squeeze into my work clothes!Married my wonderful husband 29th May 20110

I'm due 25th July. 11 weeks today. Feeling sick again. Sick. More related to wind I think. Feel like I have bad heartburn/indigestion more the past few days. It must go soon surely ...0

welcome to new ladies, my first pregnancy as well so everything is new.
i have kept an eye on maternity clothing as well, i brought a few tops recently and a jumper dress (not maternity) but they all have room in for me to grow. i read that you dont tend to need maternity clothes till 4/5 months....you can just use a trouser expander till then i think. i am 9 + 1 today and no sign of a tummy yet, thank god lol
back to work tomorrow after being off since 23rd december, that will be a shock:o
