Just phoned up the doctors to make my appointment today, I asked if I needed to see the dr or if I can just register with the midwife as I don't really want to waste the drs time. But apparently I do need to see the dr first, who will need to ask some questions. Apparantly this cant be done over the phone, which is annoying. I bet it is all really stupid stuff they ask me.
My appointment isnt untill the 9th as they are so busy and its not an emergancy appointment.
I've been told you pretty much get left on your own with your second baby and I am so looking forward to it!! I can't stand being poked and prodded.

Did you have lots of pain with the bleeding? I have never had a miscarriage but my sister has, and she tried to reassure me with the fact that as I did not have any pain whilst bleeding then I should stay positive, and my doctor said that if I had pain then that was more cause for concern. Of course everyone is different, and there is no rule of thumb for this, but the bleeding could be many different things, its just that once you fall pregnant you automatically assume that blood means something bad.

bikerchick. i am so so sorry to hear about that. Hope you are ok. Please stay strong and look after yourself. *hug*. i cant imagine how you are feeling. :-(

please dont worry rebekah. i know it sounds scary and every pain, bleeding etc we get will be worrying but like fishcake said we have to try our best and be positive. I was a bit scared after reading about the other pregnancy but i have calmed myself down.

has anyone on here not had any bleeding?

RebekahR try not to worry, there has been nothing in your posts to indicate a problem (unlike myself), you will of course have to have your next scan to be sure all is well.

Credit. Is this your first. I'm on my second and had previous treatment for cin3 abnormal smear inbetween pregnancies. Is this something u were more closely monitored because of. Just asking cos my new doctor doesn't have the records regarding this as they are in irelnad

rjh - no this is my second, I have a 9 year old daughter, so quite a big gap. Am finding it much harder going this time round what with all the bleeding, and I just seem to have more aches and pains and definately more indigestion/heartburn, but am obviously older this time around so maybe that has an impact. My midwife did refer me to consultant care because of the treatment for abnormal smears, which I thought was odd as I had the treatment before I had my DD, but then I also suffered with mild PND and then the bleeding this time round, but the consultant was not that bothered by all of that and referred me back to just midwife care! Surely your doctor must be able to get hold of your records? Have you had your first midwife appt cos any previous treatment will be discussed then.

think i might be having some ibs symptoms as hadnt been to the loo today so maybe its that. i hope i am not getting paranoid about the side pain (esp on the right hand side). once i start getting paranoid, i can not stop. grr

Now I know right handed pain is normal I would be paranoid if I got a lot of left handedn pain LOL.
