as this will be my first (fingers crossed, all goes well), i would like to daughter. its just that they are so cute and the clothes are so lovely too. hehe. saying that if i do have a boy then i will still be happy. all that matters is them being healthy right? so preference is a girl, but i wont mind. :)hubbys has 3 brothers and no sister, so am wondering what will happen?

i like knitting but get bored so quickly. have to look for my needles actually.:) love baby clothes everywhere. my nieces who are 6 and 2 love Next clothes. princesses. :0)

I found something to eat. Special k bar. Nice and dry and strawberry flavour. Was delicious so looks like that will be my stable diet lol. :) I think this one is a boy. I never found out first time round d as they refuse to tell u in Ireland even if u ask. So want to know this time and my new partner feels the same :)

They refuse in Ireland? why is that? that is silly because if the parents want to know, why stop them? I think we will leave it a surprise, but the suspense will get to me. if hubby doesnt want to know, then i can and not tell him hehe. i dont know yet..:-) just waiting to see after scan 1.

i am starving. my belly is rumbling like crazy. i fancy some orange juice with my curry but i have to go out. :( i know if i go to tescos near work, i will def get some crisps. :(

Northern Ireland has a bit of a compensation culture and u think they were telling getting it wrong and being sued. I sold all my stuff after my daughter so have to get new stuff but probably buy neutral toys etc as I want another. Would like to buy baby clothes second hand in bulk so a bit of time to prepare would be good. Also u are lucky I Ireland to get a scan before 14 weeks so glad I getting one at ten

my god. that is really weird. at least you are here now. :) ahh yes i agree buying cheap clothes for babies are good as you only keep washing them all the time. am not going to be like my sis in law and make them wear expensive clothes.. not till older anyway.. but even then things from Tescos, Asdas is ideal.:)

  • If it helps any one this is the pattern I'm using for my hat and mittens. Its a lovely quick patten, I'm making mine plain for now and then later when I know which flavour we are getting can add a little decoration. I have quite a few patterns saved so if anyone needs anything specific let me knows :)

you are really good. i can only do scarves and even then i leave them halfway. i think i might get into it as it is quite calming. better than sewing. i hate that!

  • I can barely sew, only the basics like hems and buttons really. Fabric just doesnt talk to me, but wool is definately my gift lol. These patterns are really not scary, and if you start on in the morning I dont doubt you can finish a mitten in a day no matter how beginner you think you are :)
