SVsandy - I read you're not meant to have your hair dyed until after the 1st tri. Not sure what the risks are though.

Manda A&E will do nothing for you. I bled at almost 15 weeks and the Gynaecologist at A&E refused me a scan even though my doctor had demanded one. It is so hard to not know, ring your midwife and EPU when you can. You need to know xx

Hey everyone not posted for a while been a bit of a tramatic week, was MIL funneral yesterday which was really sad, I hate to see OH so upset dont know what to do to help him MS came back with avengence on wednesday and thursday but held off a bit yesterday, meant to be back to work on monday but seriously dont think I can hack it, the smallest smell makes me gag even with the sickness tablets, I may ring the docs monday for a repeat sick note, do you think he will give me one without seeing me, I hate taking up appointments when I know there is nothing docs can do other than what there doing already if that makes sense, anyway take care ladies, ps my bump seems to be very big!!!

I had a bit of a wobble yesterday, questioning whether we should really be bringing a baby into the world when we have debts to pay off. Had a long heart to heart with OH about it last night.

Cheered up a bit this morning as I got my appointment for scan through the post. Will be 12+5 when I have it, gives me a date to aim for

Hi! I've been reading daily, but haven't had the chance to post. I think 3 of you have almost the same EDD as me 12/10/11!! Nice to have some people to share it with!

Got really upset Friday, called the Dr to chase up my midwife appointment as I still haven't heard anything, despite registering over the phone 3-4 weeks ago & they've got no notes for me at all! Must have got lost apparently! They really know how to make you feel insignificant! 8 weeks Wed, so hopefully they will ring me soon to book up so I can get on the list for a scan!!!

Been really rubbish till yesterday, but suddenly got energy & better appetite, it's scaring me not having symptoms, is this normal??

Hope everyone is OK, sorry for those having a bad time xx

Apart from that I have the odd bit of sickness but nothing too bad, I am weepy and grumpy though, I've been in tears for something stupid every day this week. Poor OH. :eek:

I have booked a private scan for March 12, I'll be 8 weeks then. If everything is ok I can let the cat out of the bag!! As someone who has recently lost a lot of weight (3 stone over 18 months), I can't bear the idea that people will think I'm just getting fat again! A silly thing to worry about, I know....

Hi all,

Am 5 weeks pregnant, so thought it was time i popped in to say hi! It's still very early days, and i don't feel pregnant at all, so it still doesn't feel real. I don't even have sore boobs, which were my first symptom with DS! But i'm not complaining. MS will kick in soon enough!:p

This is my second pregnancy, as i have a 10 month old son, so i didn't expect to feel as impatient for time to pass, and i definitely didn't expect to feel as nervous about every cramp and twinge, but of course i do!:o I just can't wait for the twelve week scan. It's such a huge milestone, isn't it?!

My symptoms seemed to have disappeared, from the point where I was sick all day everyday to nothing at all. The last couple of days I have been feeling a bit yucky again but thats it - I think its pretty normal and everyone is different in every pregnancy. Dont go getting yourself worried!
