Well the morning sickness has kicked in for me, seems to be lasting most of the day too if this weekend is anything to go by! Think I'm 6+5 today and the exhaustion is awful! Got a couple of days off work now and fully expect to sleep through them! House looks like a bomb has gone off and I'm supposed to be glossing the skirting boards in the hall but can't see that happening!

Ahh, my parents already know - just want to show them the photo!!

Sorry you're sickness has hit you bad; I'm been pretty lucky with mine - 1 sickness episode at work and 1 fainting episode on the train into London! Take it easy - no glossing the skirting board; that can wait!

Awww I can't wait to get my photo, we're keeping quiet until after our scan but planning to give each side a copy of the pic it'll be the first grandchild for DH's parents and I can't wait to tell them!

TBH I'd completely forgotten how quick the sickness hits, I was bad with it with my son but I seem to have blanked out most of that pregnancy! OMG @ fainting on the train! Did you have a good samaritan to help you? I was pretty ill at work yesterday, the smell of the mushy peas set me off, horrible things! Oddly enough a portion of curry sauce sorted me right out and I was fine by the time I got home :rotfl:

Well, told my boss. He is very pleased for me. Feels surreal telling people, but I have caveated that not confirmed properly until Friday.

Roll on Thursday for my 1st scan, i'll be 12+6 by then but hey ho.
anybody have any cravings? i never with my 1st two but every aspect this pregnancy is sooooo different. i could literally kill for some grapes, i dont just mean one or two, but bunches and bunches of them, i need them and i cant stop thinking about eating them, what a geek eh? also peanut m&m's are going down a treat too

I am REALLY pee'd off that I don't actually have any idea how far on I might be.. I never had this before.. and I hate it.. I am almost wound up enough to demand a scan at EPU.

*sigh* .. There, I have shared it.. I now feel better... I can just see me being 16 weeks at my '12 week' scan..

I crave sleep and some time off!

hey everyone

No cravings for me twinkle not yet anyways but am starting to want to eat again which is good, only been sick once today first thing and havent had an anti sick pill today feeling soooooo much better, rang docs they will give me a sick note for another week but wont be ready til wednesday arghhhhh never mind will ring tomorrow see if its ready gonna have a week of rest ready for back to work

So sorry Manda xxx I completely felt the same as you after my 2nd MC, as did my OH. My MCs were very close together, and we just couldn't face going through it all again, so we gave up trying for 6 months to sort our heads out and enjoy our son a bit. Whatever you decide, good luck to you and I hope this is all over soon xxxxxxx

i have booking in appointment with midwife thurs too. then scan on the 14th . went to a party sat just for an hour and everyone was congratulating us and asking how long we had left, they were completley shocked when i told them i was only 11 weeks,i mean it im huge lol

to be honest the antisickness pills made me feel so groggy and drowsy i only took them for about 3 days. im feeling a lot better with my sickness now i havent thrown up for about 3 days just feeling a bit icky but back to work just shattered still. hopefully your sickness will ease off soon.

manda so sorry to hear your going through it again,hugs to you and partner, dont know what else to say.
