Less than 12 weeks pregnant club! 2

Couldnt decide wether to put this on here on not, but would really like to hear others thoughts, incase its happened to others too. I started bleeding again today, but not like last time this is bright red and more of it too, and got pains, so thinking this time it'll be a proper MC. So upset that its happening again, really felt this time was different. Im just not sure wether to wait till Drs apt next week or ring EPU. I know they wont scan me cos Im only 5+2, so kind of think whats the point? Just confused as to what to do. Dont really want to sit in a&e on a friday night either.

Oh sweetie - I'm sorry. I'd call EPU I think; they may scan you. I know what you mean though; I've spent a few Friday nights in A&E before.

I wouldn't be able to wait until the doctors next week; I'd go out of my mind.

I just called the EPAU and they said I have to be refered by my Dr to see them, so got to see my Dr, although she said if I bleed heavy I should go to A&E, so think Im just gonna see how it goes, if it stays how it is, I'll wait, if not then Ill go to A&E. So unfair, I really thought Id be ok this time.

I know honey - it is so unfair.

I was told I needed a referral last time - I just went to A&E anyway and got a scan the next day. It helped me to know sooner rather than later.

I think you should get yourself down to A & E, surely they wouldnt just leave you sitting there?

I know others have replied already but that makes her exactly the same dates as me. My test said 3+ which I think is the longest date they can show. I'm due 11th October and have seen my midwife already just to do family health history and be referred to hospital ready for scan etc. Good luck with all your future planning!

So sorry Manda xxxx With my first mc the bleeding started on a Thursday night and although I went to my GPs on the Friday, he had to refer me to the EPU and they couldn't see me until the Monday. It's so awful that you have to wait, I remember that feeling very well and will be thinking of you over the weekend xxxx Let us know how you get on and take care of yourself x
